different countries have different markers for the decimal place. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_separator looks like a win for comma decimal place based on landmass (image from the page).

We wont be flying to Canada for our big midlife holiday (whenever the global catastrophes finish), because we might have to go through the USA - sorry Canada.

They can also be much more precise - if they want.

The iranians have been pretty good about tit for tat escalations, their production facility gets hit, they hit other oil facilities. The war started with Irans head of state being killed during negotiations, and so far that hasn't happened anywhere else

It is in New Zealand! Also I have no idea why anyone is trying to rationalize the crap he says about negotiating with Iran - I just heard one broadcast saying that maybe there were back channels to tackle the negotiations. We have seen often enough that he regularly makes up lies from whole cloth, no shame, no kernel of truth.

That's not entirely up to you.

That makes sense, some uses of oil are a lot harder to swap. Technology is moving forward for battery tech and there are a bunch of ways batteries could be improvements over gas canisters (e.g. structural batteries), but I think IC technology is about as good as it's going to get.

And the last set of attacks happened while they were in negotiations.

If only the areas that Need oil use oil, there will be more oil for those needs. You can't make a plastic bag out of solar electricity, some industrial reactions require coal/natural gas to be done at industrial scales, but a lot of our existing use of fuel could be replace with renewables. I bet anyone that commutes with a battery/hybrid car feels pretty happy right now.

CNN was bought by the onion?

Actually has nukes. Is best friends with Trump, hasn't been invaded by China or USA. So 1. if you want to be secure, have a nuke before letting anyone know. 2. If you can't get a nuke because other people will try to take them off you, maybe go for biological weapons - no one seems to be too worried about that at the moment and you can hurt a lot more people - get a Virus A and Virus B (A is for showing you can, B is for showing why you shouldn't)

What are your plans for the oil themed global disaster keeping you at home? I feel like we're in the "it'll go away in a week or two" phase. I'm planning to make blueberry vodka

It's iconic, and has a neat story with it. Also seems to answer the question, is there much of a difference between good and bad architecture if it's structurally sound. Note: I don't think it's bad I find the organic style to be interesting, but it also makes my skin feel uncomfortable

Peoples idea of strength can come in many forms, one of the most toxic is that winning (in any area) means the others lose, or lose more than you.

It was referenced in some other publicly released documents. I'm sure it's one of the less incriminating pieces that people were already aware of that hadn't been cleaned up entirely.
