That wasnt the americans, that was the Afghan government forces. Even the Convoy of Death documentary admits that the main problem was the US special forces there didnt do anything to stop it.
So your comment should read "Dasht-i-Leili massacre where the US allies took thousands of surrendered Taliban..." as the figures involved were not just from Afghanistan. Many muslims from all over the world volunteered to fight, including, famously, Saudi Arabia

Oh 100% the US covered up their allies involvement and the fact they were there. But they didnt drive the trucks, they were not in control.

I mean take it with a grain of salt since I don't wanna look into it, but I remember years ago that yeah they obviously covered it up, but there were layers to the coverup, one layer that it didnt happen, one layer that it was the allies, the other layer was that US CIA guys were there on the ground involved.
