Strings before flying.

And around the inside. Especially around the head/neck. OP's case has no support on the head/neck. And it looks like he didn't loosen his

OP's case is a chipboard. It's on the cheaper end of cases you can buy. Flight cases are usually carbon fiber, and have way more support on

That only works with some chords. You have to know which borrowed chords and colored chords you can use. Or you can just try until you get 1

Sense. A good place to start with the guitar is learning the CAGED system.

Don't use tabs if you want to learn music theory. Just learn how to read music. It sucks at first, but then everything will end up making

Remembering the different notes in all the different modes is just as hard as remembering the scale.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not at all. Some modes have a note or two different if you start with a major or minor scale.

You can at least always tune tell guitar to itself if you don't have a guitar tuner handy

Harmonics on the A string.

I know most of you probably don't care about this stuff, but it's just amazing to see how far beatboxing has evolved as an art form.

The dad AC one is so true.

The price is honestly not bad at all. Look at the price of other popular shoes like Jordans. Those can be way more expensive.

Sorry, A in the key of G would be also be a mM7th chord too, which also wouldn't make sense.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not just context of the chords surrounding it. It's the quality too. Which, quality by itself can make something jazzy.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well in the key of G, A would be a half diminished 7th chord. In F it would be a mM7th chord, which most composers wouldn't use.

In a minor the right chord progression would be, a minor, d minor and e major. Or just i-iv-V. Those are just normal cadence chords.

Just Google the caged system on guitar.

Just take a chord, start at the root, then follow the whole step, half step pattern of whatever scale. Then change one scale degree for mode

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And that holds true with 9th, 11th, and 13th, chords as well.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well it depends on the quality of the 7th chord. You're talking about Mm 7th chords. MM and mm 7th chords sound jazzy by themselves.

Which actual f chord? In A position? C position? G position? D position? There are lots of ways to play the same chord.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not really. You just transpose chords up and you basically know all the chords. And what other tuning would you be talking about?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And, dominant 7th chords don't have to be jazzy. It all depends what comes before it, and after it. Most songs use a dominant 7th chord...

Nothing. As well as half of these other chords.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

None of these really help unless you understand the context of them inside of different keys... if you are playing a song in c#m, Cmaj means
