I was about to enhance my comment above regarding this. I honestly believe that the US will still be incapable for quite a while electing any woman as president due to a misogynistic portion of voters. ...and IF this miracle should ever happen that person will face brutal judgement and (of course) a lot of unnecessary comments and reporting regarding the appearance/any emotional behavior. The last part is neither an US exclusive nor a president exclusive thing. Humans are dumb.

I doubt it helps but in some debates over the pros and cons of capitalism the US is an example I use quite often for 'late stage capitalism'. Those debates don't even occur this much anymore. I can stand pranks, prank calls, prank-shitting-everything. To this day I never once enjoyed 'jokes' made on the misery or belittling of others - and hope I'll never do. I hope for the day when this toxic shit will cease to exist but I assume the heat death of the universe is still a tad away.
