Typos galore.

I think I lost my faith in justice being served after the Panama papers. Every major reveal since then has just confirmed my belief that the whole idea of fairness or justice, even in "good" countries, is nothing but a myth.

She flubbed the line. Happens when reading fast and if you're a bit nervous (which I would be if recording myself to post online).

Either you are the alt account of DarkBladeX, or you two are a match made in h̵e̵a̵v̵e̵n̵ hell.

Apologies without change is useless. I'd rather they get rid of systemic sexism.

I thought the books were rather subpar. I only read the first two and for the first time thought "okay, so the book isn't always better".

I absolutely hated the final season of the show. I enjoyed the revival (the first one), just got started on the second one.

1.) It's your garden, you can do what you want. 2) If you want to just even it out, even it out. Don't get too hung up on labels. Some people will say this is a sin against no-tilling, others will say it's fine. Regardless, whatever you are trying to do will make it easier for you to continue using the no-tilling method, or garden in the way you want, then do them.

and yet their logos are remarkably similar. That is the point of the post.

Iceland, Ireland, The Netherlands, Slovenia and Spain are boycotting the contest and not taking part.

Also, as a Dutch person, I kind of feel the need to apologise for Joost Klein. Both for being an apparently shitty person and a shitty musician.

Uhm... Denim jeans are from France... "serge de Nîmes" for the fabric and "genes" referring to sailor pants.

Same!

Not realistic, I know, but I would love future history text books/history teachers to be able to refer back to memes like these.

Hahaha, "amaze amaze" - that made me chuckle. I really enjoyed the movie, and this is very cool to see. Thanks!

The bit about the sexual assault and the detailed description of their fear wasn't in the initial post, though. They added it later. Really do wish edits would be time stamped.

Block button. I got a similar message once from another user, something about stomping my head against the pavement till they hear my skull crack. I reported it using a comment of theirs and describing the situation in the box provided. Nothing came of it, they're still here.

We have very different lenses, for sure. It took the line "Hope you figure it out before then, but not really, these words fall on blind eyes." to mean, "I don't really care if you figure this out, because you're not going to listen to me anyway."

Except, The Ring is a copy of the Japanese movie "Ringu". Both "ring" (noun) and "ringu" refer to a round band or circle. "Ring", meaning to make a sound, is "naru" in Japenese. So I suspect the pun is entirely accidental.

Yes, because the downvoted comment said "one day you will wonder where all the attention went", implying "enjoy it while you can".

"thank you for walking right up to us as we passed you, and then walking right behind us, at an intimate distance, breathing heavily and making sloppy kissing noises"

(My daughter was disappointed that we didn't resort to violence.)

Nope. I was with her yesterday. It was despicable and made me feel unsafe and ashamed of my country.

Smart image searches can find no other images of this cave, taken at different times or at different angles. Only this one. Which further suggests this is AI.

To be perfectly honest, with an image like there aren't obvious tells. (Remember, photoshop also exists). I did a reverse image search and the oldest I could find is presented without additional information (Facebook group for "liminal" spaces.) My favourite AI detector is torn, giving it a 42% of being AI. Other detectors, which I find less reliable but still score highly in tests, are sure it is AI. It could very well be a photo where AI was used to embellish it.

Thanks. It helps me appreciate the skill more when I can gauge the scale. And indeed, these are terrific.

Fingers crossed for a smooth trip for both of you.

Hahaha, you should've said - I wouldn't have minded waiting for you to take photos in less haste!

I hated how horrible the characters could be toward each other. It was one character's wedding (can't remember whose) and everyone was bickering and being an asshole and I thought "ok, that's it for me". Didn't watch another episode. Reminiscent of my least favourite Friends episode, "The One with Phoebe's Birthday Dinner", where Phoebe similarly had a special night planned and everyone behaves like an ass. But with Friends it felt like a deviation from the norm. For TBBT it felt like the norm.

The back covers turned out beautifully. Really good. But that map... Oh, my goodness. You must have the patience of a saint. And the eyesight of an eagle.

These are great! What is the size of paper you're using for these?
