Let's all universally forget what a broken fucking mess new vegas was on release. I still prefer Fallout 3.

I don't know why but I love watching my husband play video games, especially fallout. Very excited

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just fuckin copy FNV with better gunplay n graphics, throw in some more quests and maybe a couple radiant ones, fuck yeah, I'll play that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't really know why, but I couldn't get into New Vegas. 3 & 4 though, all day long.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Its more of a western game then a post-apocalyptic game

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

New Vegas was the best fallout game in my opinion.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

I keep wondering what is wrong with me that I didn’t care for it so much.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

mmm yeah baby you know it

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

If all guys want from you is sex, maybe that's all you have to offer?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

And then you have people like me who don’t like Bethesda games. Oh just me? I’ll see myself out.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Bye, thanks for stopping by

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I loved New Vegas, but I want another Fallout somewhere else. I love seeing other areas of the country.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I'm worried about the direction they are going with mods.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

well it looks like all game companies are adopting micro transaction and no one is stopping it pretty sad :(

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Paid mods, micro transactions in rpgs and shooters, pretty much corporate took over game design these days.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Yup. Sad times.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Obsidian said they were gunna make a new "fallout new vegas inspired game"

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

We just got a new fallout, what we really want is a new elder scrolls

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 7

I want an old elder scrolls. Morrowind. If they were to put Morrowind's gameplay on FO4's engine, it would blow these millennials' minds.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ew.

Very Unpopular Opinion: I liked 3 more than NV.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

F3's story was better but New Vegas is a better game

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I thought NV was fine until you got into the city and then it's like a ridiculous cardboard caricatures bonanza.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

and how am i supposed to take the Dave Foley bot seriously? I mean ffs

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I mean, you're kinda not supposed to take him that seriously. That's kinda what they were going for.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, no. New Vegas didn't leave any real lingering plot threads.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I just want a partner who loves me for who I am. Guess compared to everything else I am shit.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Personal, I feel NV's story should be left ware it ended, but another Fallout with more focus on story and RPG element would be very welcome

8 years ago | Likes 138 Dislikes 3

Khajit has wares

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only way that will happen is if Bethesda sells the rights to Fallout. As long as they own it, they'll milk it however they can.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I think if there was something with NV storytelling and fallout 4 gameplay it would be a solid fallout game.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Left where?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ware it ended.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I bought an FPS while being told I was getting an RPG. I don't like FPS games generally.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

+ it was great in NV that you could kill fucking anyone at any time, which led to me in a recent playthrough to wipe out the entire legion

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fallout New Orleans would rock, the setting would kind of be perfect as well as awesome music. Call it Fallout Old Orleans or something

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't care much for setting or music of the area, but that's just me. Living in the north west, I'd love to see this place bombed to hell.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

When people say they want another new vegas, it's not referring to the story or location, we just want a fallout that insn't shit.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Maybe some but I've seen lots ask for a sequel.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

An excerpt from one of J.E. Sawyer's blog posts

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Which is why I liked DA:I's story picker thingy. I would welcome that in every rpg series.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Or like ME2 and ME3. Shame they never made a new mass effect after ME3

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Shame about DA:I itself...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Some are more right than others. Fuck the NCR

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you like the CRPG style of the original Fallout games, then try Wasteland 2, same basic premise and was made by one of the Fallout devs

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they made 4 into a shooter with SIM city. Pick your side and win. No crazy moral choices of significance either.

8 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 1

THANK YOU. I'm a huge fallout fan who could never get into FO4

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Settlement system was ripped from a Skyrim mod, and there was evidence in the game files that most of the DLCs were originally in the game.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

Cutting content and packaging it as DLC is just the way things are done now. Even if companies deny it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Should you kill your own son? Should you help the AI bots that are unpredictable AF? wtf you talkin bout?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

NV had like only 5 casinos... Ceasar?? Yesman?? WTF? Fallout 3 was the opener and Fallout 4 was definitely better the NV.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 20

Opinions differ but I cannot see how FO4 is better than FONV

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You're dumb and your opinions are bad.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

NV's 5 casinos are better than 4's 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, it was all based around the one moral choice of 'what do you think Synths are?'

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

But it doesn't really show us the ramifications. The slideshow at the end should have shown us SOMETHING about the future.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So two options- "they're people": railroad. and "they're machines": Brotherhood.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

Or "as long as they're not raiders" - Minutemen

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

This is why Minutemen are best faction. No agenda, no bullshit, just 'hey, we want to survive and rebuild'.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

They're people(Railroad), They're Machines to be used(Institute) or They're machines that need to die(BoS and Minutemen)

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

That stuff was/is all good, I really hated the main character's story.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Third option is fuck the Commonwealth and let The Institute win, but that ending sucks.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Because you can tell a new story in a different time, like Fallout 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pump your brakes, kid.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Unless they expand the map or you're returning during the blast, there's no reason to make a sequel.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Fallout 1 and 2 took place within the same area, and were both great games.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

Yes and no, there actually wasn't a ton of overlap between the two world maps. The very SE corner of 2 is the very NE corner of Fallout 1.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not that I disagree with the sentiment that they can be based in the same area and still be good.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

True, but there was a pretty big time jump between 1 and 2 to rapidly change the setting. Modern Fallout games take place within a 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

relatively small time frame (Only 10 years between 3 and 4 with NV in the middle) so another NV game would need to break the current mold.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well I wouldn't necessarily want obsidian to make it because honestly up until AW they couldn't code worth shit. FNV was insanely unstable.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

You realize they were using an engine and toolkit they hadn't ever worked on right? Bethesda has been using and modifying that engine for >

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

a decade and FO3 was still buggy as fuck too. And FO4 also. And Skyrim. And Oblivion. And Morrowind. Basically what I'm saying is Obsidian >

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

did really well considering the circumstances.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Aw c'mon now. Obsidian -always- use the excuse of the engine but they do the same thing every time, not just on gamebryo.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it's not Gamebryo's fault then why can't Bethesda make less buggy games? They've been using it for over a decade. What's their excuse?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And then you realize everyone who made New Vegas so awesome left Obsidian years ago.

8 years ago | Likes 988 Dislikes 12

Yeah... Obsidian had to downsize when they were 1 point shy of a metacritic score. Their bonus was withheld.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tyranny had a fucking great story

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And theres absolutely no talented people left at obsidian, what a shame.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Nooooooo. I loved that game.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

There are still a few of the original crew at Obsidian. They are mostly working on pillars of eternity or other small projects.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Damn right.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I may be alone in this but I found PoE to be exceptionally mediocre, dull even.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Agreed, Tyranny was better in my opinion, but far too short.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Are there any plans for a sequel to Tyranny?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The way it ended would suggest a sequel was intended, but the conclusion felt so "And Jimmy went on to die of an overdose at 60" (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Weren't they going to release an expansion soon?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wish Chris Avellone would settle into a new studio already so I can attach all my hopes to a single logo.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

NV was superior in every way.. maybe it didn't have the sights of fallout 3, I think it suffered because it was a buggy mess at launch

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Nah a lot of people really preferred fallout new vegas over fallout 3 because New Vegas was the real fallout game

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

...Obsidian still makes good games

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Sure, but good fantasy/worldbuilding =/= good post-apoc sci-fi

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Obsidian could still knock New Vegas 2/Fallout out of the park.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Only if they have the time and resources to do the job right. As I understand it they had neither in New Vegas leading to issues such as ->

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

the absolutely horrible attempt to "balance" stealth in the DLCs which ended up making stealth gameplay feel more difficult than non-stealth

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My man. I have never been able to get into the main story of NV. I've played through 3 like half a dozen times.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Play the divide and Sierra Madre. Gives a lot of backstory to the player and the environment, totally worth whatever you pay for them.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I actually did play the New Vegas DLC and admit they are miles above the main story. Weirdly though, I loved Old World Blues and 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Honest Hearts but didn't as much care for either Lonesome Road or Dead Money. Different tastes I suppose. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I liked Fallout 3 more but that might just be because I had the GOTY FO3 vs NV standard edition.

If you've never played any of the DLC then you need to get Old World Blues RIGHT NOW.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
