Forgive me for having really outdated information, but I always thought Triceratops had roamed in great herds. I recall reading that in a National Geographic magazine back in the day. What new information suggests them living in small bands or solitary lives?
I would only do this to make myself into a D&D miniature but they're not small enough. I go to the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan each year, and that fact-- along with the 7,000yen price-- always bums me out.
I visited a house/museum dedicated to kappa, a Japanese kind of yokai monster that's like a humanoid turtle creature. They have indentations on the top of their head to hold water, which is the source of their power when on land. It's not a cape, but it's its turtle shell! This artist favored making them soft-shell kappas, I suppose.
