At a minimum it would only require the white side to be solved if it did need solving as the centre piece never moves from it's position 1/
on the centre part, same as all cubes. There doesn't appear to be anything specific about the outer squares that would need them to be 2/
that position though. I think the solving is just to show it functions as a regular cube/their speedcube skills. 3/3

looks like a YuXin Treasure Box. Simular to the Treasure Box designed by Oskar van Deventer, but looks way smoother.
It moves the same as a real rubik's cube, but can open when solved.
Well, hopefully it moves BETTER than a real Rubik's cube.
