My dog Pirate is a rescue and also lost his eye due to infection...and neglect. Bastards.

As a fellow soldier serving in Canada, I'm really sorry OP but one thing I've learned that rings true. My family IS the military now.
Didn't make it past the 5th image, I just rescued a one eyed pup from the shelter and the thought of not having him just destroys me
Worked a cattle auction before, this kid would hit them in the face and a cow reared him into a fence and broke his arm. So satisfying.
I got attacked in the face by a Dobie. 27 stitches and 2 years later my bottom lip is still numb. I still love them though.
Well you could be a little dense if you used the proper flour!
A family friend once went to check on his Dad and he had heart attack and died in the living room and the cats started to eat his face.
