It's like sticking one leg out from under the blanket for a while.

#1 I loved it, too! Despite thinking the dance itself jumped the shark a little.... it was good enough otherwise that a little cringe didn't stop me. I think that's a good endorsement. I really liked the characters.

How do they know to pick just one? Wild.

#38 the pinker one (not the purpler one). Slightly lighter is always a better complement than slightly darker. Plus, I find nailpolish darkens as it dries and ages on your fingies.

Well said. Though I don't know how to say it elegantly, but the original and your reoly also argues from within the idea that people's lives, any of us, are about work and productivity. Which is what helps perpetuate the system....you know? Wish I could formulate the thought better.... I initially totally agree and then I'm like, wait!

The jeans, tea, tea kettle and decor say Europe, the fridge says differently. So, Canada?

Eejit is an Irish thing. I thought maybe the makers were Irish. And it was all an elaborate formulation for that one lettee as the central joke, but then I saw many of the other examples and thought maybe it's all just...whatever.

I like Always Sunny because the characters are not vindicated by the plot or circumstance. Danny Devitos "whooer" stuff. And "the implications" episode make me uncomfortable. Crickets Crack decline was hard to watch. Charlie is hilarious. The day man musical was sublime. Mac is great, too. The mcpoyles are so gross and great. I can only watch one or two episodes at a time though, or I feel a little dark. I've missed a bunch of eps and seasons. A lot to think about when watching, i think.

Two and a Half Men is probably one of the most revolting to me. Not watching network tv has helped not have to accidentally see stuff like that. My top gross out of all time prob still goes to Howard Stern, who is uninteresting, abusive pathetic scum who I hope just quietly withers and dies soon from his own self-loathing, if he still is even working. I refuse to look. I'm shocked he's tolerated by anyone. I hope someone will just tell me when he's dead so I can celebrate.

Married with Children was that for me back in my youth. I found it irredeemable, but everyone else talks about it like it was culturally something forward. Stupid women constantly invalidated, undermined and oversexualized by also very stupid men. Seinfeld didnt ping like that for me, but it makes sense. Its humor was so good and so different than anything being done, but in retro it also casually entrenches 90s misogyny, which it was only a little ahead of.

Something being "Stygian" is something very dark and foreboding, like the river Styx. I always thought that was a cool one.
