#21 Fun fact; I studied art in San Antonio with an amazing artist named Carl Rice Embrey. He studied Andrew Wyeth who painted this painting and Carl often emulated his style, abstract realism. Studying with Carl was an amazing experience and he helped me with my art, which over time applied to my creative thinking, photography and other areas of life. Amazing works by both of them. I am humbled.

I literally just finished the last episode of Season 9 after restarting the series last fall. I watched it as it aired originally. Season 4 was my favorite season in the rewatch, but there were a lot of good episodes throughout. Headed to the 2008 movie next and then seasons 10 and 11. Seriously foreboding for current times.
Amazing presence in Carnivale, also.
I live in an area with a lot of crows and they absolutely torture any bird of prey that shows up. Whenever I hear crows being extra noisy I look for the eagle or osprey. Yes live in PNW.
Me too! Once my brother and I went to their office unannounced and saw Richard Garriott and some colleagues coming back from lunch and they laughed when we said we wanted to see where the magic happened. Austin, TX. Total office building.
I feel the same about organic food. I do not intend to eat inorganic tacos.

I live just north of Seattle. It's been eerie calm here but it feels like the flood is all around us. Just wind and rain. I keep checking a nearby river in a small swampy park. Today was actually sunny but it's the calm before the third storm.

I literally howled with laughter in the theater when he brought out "by the power of greyskull!" Truly one of the funniest things I'd seen in a long time and was so out of the blue. Now I've gotta go rewatch the movie.

I wonder if the cargo wasn't strapped in well or shifted backwards when trying to take off. They were pointing up pretty hard and couldn't get lift. And inexplicably on fire already. Very sad to see this happen.
