I'm about ready to quit imgur over this constant stream of diarrhea, myself.

No. This is your life now, unfortunately.

Just want to point out - the term banana republic comes from countries that the US destabilized politically in order to protect corporate economic interests, and companies' ability to exploit their workers. See the United Fruit Company, now known as Chiquita Brands International; or the Standard Fruit Company, now known as Dole Food Company.

To them, people with addictions are to be punished. Criminals are to be punished. No, don't question what led them to become addicts or turn to crime. Punish them. As god intended.

Forreal. Folks don't realize that reviews are the lifeblood for authors. Esp those of us doing it indie. Want to support an author whose book you like? Review it!

34 felony convictions, and he's still awaiting sentencing. The American justice system is a fucking joke.

#6 that's cool and all, but why were they allowed to do that in the first place?

LOL. This is still the party of Reagan. The only thing Trump did was let them say it out loud.

LeVar Burton was an absolute fixture of my childhood. He's done a lot of good for a lot of kids.

A symbolic act is still worlds better than the current response.

No no no. You see, education is only useful as a means to get a career. Wait, no. I mean to make money for capitalists. It's an investment, not a social good.

While I'm vehemently anti-Nazi, I'm actually okay with the current interpretation of the 1st Amendment.

I always argue that fascists can and will use prohibitions on speech designed to protect the marginalized to further oppress them. Like, just imagine Trump's first presidency if we didn't have the robust protections on speech that we do? He'd be screaming that BLM protests were "hate speech" and using that as pretext.

It's a moral imperative to punch Nazis.

"All Trump Supporters may not be Nazis, but..."

Nobody said people living in rural areas couldn't still have cars.

How do former cashiers get trained to become service techs, programmers, and network engineers? And by whom?

Is the need for those positions equal or greater to the jobs eliminated?

Yes. It's an elective monarchy.

What new jobs do self-checkout stations create specifically?

It's always funny when American Catholics learn the Vatican is a theocratic monarchy.
