(O_(O_(O_O)_O)_O) High School English teacher in KS. Get this to the front page and I'll edit a paper for you.
Quality over quantity.
Name of the Wind is my favorite book of all time. It’s by Patrick Rothfuss if anyone is curious.
Book three is slated for release on 8/20/20. It’s listed as being for sale on that date anyway.
That’s where K-State is! There’s tons to do in Manhattan and tons of places to meet up with like-minded people!
English teacher here: grade quota is bullshit. Never heard of it and can see no logic/reason behind having one. Ever.
It makes me happy any time someone mentions Redwall.
I love you. Thank you so much for this knowledge.
As a teacher: I’ve been there.
In the Midwest here. My district’s starting pay is $35,400 and maxes out at $61k after 35 years of teaching with a Master’s degree.
Can confirm. My district’s starting pay is $35,400 and maxes out at $61k after 35 years of teaching with a Master’s degree.
EULALIA!!!!
Those books got me obsessed with reading when I was younger, and now I’m an English teacher. I credit them a lot for my love of English.
2/ “The gods did not want us to have school today, and so we will honor their wishes by canceling class.” Loved that man.
There was supposed to be a huge snowstorm one day that didn’t end up happening, so my professor sent an email saying,
Yuri’s Revenge is easily in my top 5 games of all time. Sad not as many people know about it.
Romeo and Juliet with Guns.
These look like Digimon.
Today on: Gifs that end too soon.
So are we just ignoring the one hurricane that went up the Mississippi and hit Chicago?
I love the amount of Critical Role references on this post.
Came here looking for this :)
Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind.
I watched this more times than I can count growing up. So good.
Yuri’s Revenge is my childhood.
I’m not the only one that thought this?!
My thoughts exactly.
Don’t look up the trailer for the remake if you want to maintain your sanity.
In America, 4th grade is in elementary school and is full of 9-10 year olds. It’s Elementary, Middle, then High School with grades 1-12.
