Speaker Johnson didn't even allow it to come up for a vote.

That's because he relies on his cronies in Congress to never pass anything he doesn't like.

Yes, because the method is allowed as long as (I believe) it is unanimous.

Like I said....makes Republicans be even more at fault. Even the Republicans in the Senate were for it. Johnson is such a hack.

She was friends with Ali Larter from their modeling days and convinced Ali to audition for Varsity Blues.

Couple of those things weren't part of Obama's deal, but yeah.

Post title was wrong. The point of their decision was that Cox doesn't simply 'allow it'. It's that the current laws state that the party being accused has to essentially have no other real purpose than allowing people to pirate. That's why Grokster lost in the first place.

Nothing wrong with WANTING to have those things. Everything wrong with HAVING those things AND plenty enough to enable that for plenty of others.

All the major energy generators have solar and wind as part of their portfolio. The "anti-renewable" lobby is really a "let us still kill people with our coal" lobby.

Well that's stupid. An Army judge doesn't get to just tell the NAVY to go reinvestigate something they already know all about. And of course it was backed by Iran. Was supposed to be my wife's ship there that day but the Cole asked to jump ahead. Her ship already had received cryptic "see you soon" message when it passed through the Strait on the way into the Gulf.

Not 'bad' either. As the article says, what little leakage there is gets so diluted immediately that it isn't a hazard. And that's something many people don't understand and why you had stupid pics of 'radiation spread' in the ocean after Fukishima.

1600-ish miles? If gas and food (and possibly a place to stop overnight) are available at regular intervals I've done a drive like that in 2 days when I was younger.

But I've been to Perth and lived in San Diego so I agree with your comparison.

No. Current conservatism isn't even close to Nixon. Nixon cared about the environment. Nixon didn't mind having talks with China.

Trump is more late 1800s/early 1900s Republicans mixed with the Dixiecrats that came over to the right and now have a bigger pulpit for their racism.

Oh, Republicans had their state governors and legislatures helping keep Biden from getting credit. I see 'This Project Completed Due To The BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE ACT" (essentially). Which barely any Republican voted for.

Any biometric 'password' isn't covered. Use a passcode/PIN.

No. The games feel empty these days because the vast majority of them aren't really MMORPGs. Everything now is 'Diablo-esque' action RPGs, even the MM ones.

A) Clearly I meant a foreign country. B) Only country with a 'sizable' Navy in any decent condition is China.

Not saying we'd lose that, but would be the only one I can see being an actual threat to damaging our boats.

I don't think Israel would really want us to be involved in any war with China. We wouldn't be able to bomb more brown people for them.

And yes, I'm not kidding about that "not fit" thing. Saw multiple boxes with 'Grade D Beef'. Mix it with enough sauce and/or grease and the taco/chili bar still works.

Having done multiple of these....it does not improve morale. And none of them take it that way either. It's just better than the typical "Not fit for human consumption" crap that you typically get in the service especially when on a ship.

None. He's illegally using an authority he doesn't have, clearly assisted by people who illegally helped him.

Ranked choice not being there won't matter. People need to stop listening to the stupid rhetoric based on one poll. Democrat is going to win the governor's race. Probably will go to a runoff, but they'll still win.

A) Not 'finally'. Has been done before.
B) That isn't 'ribeye'.
C) The right could be told that a dinner of actual dog food served to the military was a 'gourmet' meal and they'd praise Trump taking care of the 'suckers and losers'.

Submariners always got fed better than us surface folk. This wasn't common for us. But the right wants to play this as 'servicemen never got this before' and claim they were serving Ribeye to everyone. We all know the only people getting ribeye were officers.

Incorrect. Nothing about this implies 'something challenging' or a 'special event'. These are done every year. The problem is that the right seems to think they've never had this before.

I was in the Navy. We typically had this once a year no matter what. And pretty much the most safe place to be when anywhere near a conflict zone is on a ship because in reality only one country could even potentially be a danger to our Navy right now.

Don't worry... when had prices drop only 25% of the way to where they were, he'll be whining about how we aren't giving him credit for lowering gas prices.

It's more Taylor Sheridan schlock....where the 'real Americans' can get away with every crime under the sun because of 'freedom'.

No... we didn't give them to Israel. They stole our secrets to develop their own. Never have held them accountable. And won't ever slap them on the wrist.

The same people benefiting from this deal are the ones who cried when Obama gave Iran back the money they gave to the US in the 1980s for the weapons Reagan's people never were able to send because a BIPARTISAN CONGRESS helped send many of those involved to jail.
