Even more fun when employers try to claim you aren't allowed to ask.

LOL, no worries. =)

That's cool. I want you to understand that I do not care that you hate me personally.

You've still got a support network, just not necessarily what you're thinking of. Utility companies, construction companies, farms, etc...

Don't forget them saying that there would be no peaceful transition of power because Obama was going to run for a third term as the opening gambit to becoming president for life. Every accusation is a confession.

It is always morally correct to punch facists. Especially if they are calling themselves Nazis.

I'm in this picture, and I don't like it.

There are happy, well adjusted sex workers. There are also many who are not. So, the assumption might have been hasty, but also not out of the realm of possibility.

I feel like Sorbo should be re tired. As in, hit in the face with a truck tire doing 70 mph, multiple times.

I didn't vilify her, I just didn't want to vote for her. Voted for Sanders in the primaries, because his platform aligned more with my values. Still voted for her in the general though.

I don't know that site, but I do know that the reason wrist straps come with basically all of that style of controller now are because during the testing phase of development, they found that users playing wii bowling would almost always release not just the button, but the entire controller at the end of the motion. You know, like they do in actual bowling. LOL

When the Wii first came out, there were an absolutely bonkers number of injuries from it. Performing the motions that normally have resistance built into them basically short circuits how you tell how much you are exerting yourself, and people were overextending and spraining, like, everything.

Agree 100%. I'm progressive on most issues, but "influencer" is not a job title, and "exposure" is not compensation.

I miss the days when kobolds were dog-like, not dragon-like.

Don't forget the perchlorates that saturate pretty much all of the regolith.

It's not really possible to terraform Venus either. The atmosphere is almost entirely CO2 and sulphur compounds causing pressures to be orders of magnitude higher than on Earth. Not to mention it has a feature called "voltaic wind" that caused all of the water loss. Essentially, heat breaks water apart, voltaic wind rips the hydrogen out of the atmosphere and throws it into space. It's one of the driest places in the solar system. Only realistic chance is to do floating habitats in the sky.

Frequently, in high level play in ANY game (even games like Chess that are highly calculable), the metagame is more important than the actual game state.

What separates wheat from chaff in poker is this: When real poker players bluff, it absolutely is logical, it just isn't based on the cards on the table. It's based on the social cues around the table.

That's fair. I was only pointing out that people that actually think they were reincarnated are like "was I a famous person who made a major contribution to society? do you think i'd be living in this life if i was? my former selves effed around and found out."

There's a lot of critical information missing from that. I worked for one of the major players in managed print services for a decade, and you would not believe how often Fortune ranked companies will just not pay their bills. So, was it a consumer grade device, without a service and supplies contract, or was it an enterprise grade device where the customer did not pay the cost of the machine, and is instead paying per click? HP's only being a jerk in scenario 1.
