definitely would recommend trying some non-homemade stuff. You were basically drinking the moonshine equivalent which is fine if getting super drunk was your only motivation but you can also go blind when it's done wrong so exercise caution. The real stuff hits hard with a warming delicious fruit, spice or honey aftertaste depending on what's being used. I love the stuff and have been to Pálinka and Schnapps festivals in Europe.. which are blurry but pleasant memories 🥴
Palinka and its cousin Schnapps can be absolutely delicious. However, I wouldn't try either of those if marketed in the USA.. it would be disgustingly viscous and sugary which is not at all how it's supposed to taste.
The difference was that he was evil and stupid before but had no power and no one of importance took him seriously. Now he is evil and stupid and commands the full might of the US military while completely cuckolding every branch of our democracy. I think that's an important distinction
