Naw, fuck defunding them, disband them entirely.

Again, I want to put it out there that the INA under Title 8 of US code, is largely to blame for the legal basis that they can hide behind and no one pushes their representatives and senators to change it. ICE, by those laws, has no requirement to prove someone is a threat. It's fucking nuts if you read it. We have got to get these laws changed.

Wasting more of our tax payer dollars not doing shit but making people nervous at the airport.

Thank you again to the 90 million Americans, who didn’t vote in the last election.

This is an army of pardoned J6 criminals that are now personally loyal to him.

Looks like they are only present in fourteen airports and all unmasked. I imagine people will love taking their photos.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And ICE conrinues to ignore them because the courts refuse to do anything to actually oppose fascism. Judges are still acting like everyone is playong by the rules, but ICE jas literally said it ignores the rules

3 days ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

Exactly.. judges can issue a million rulings but if no one holds ICE and the current administration accountable it means absolutely fucking nothing. Sick of hearing this shit actually "cuckolded democratic judicial system still attempts to be relevant".

3 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This would be encouraging if we could count on someone to enforce these court rulings.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@porterpickup defend this one naz

Abolish ICE.
Prosecute its agents.

I mean, yeah... because the administration is not legally obligated to release undocumented immigrants solely because they are not considered a threat; DHS has the *discretion* to release them but is not required to do so. In these cases, the burden is on the individual to prove they are neither a flight risk nor a danger.

But yeah, like, if you're not in the country legally, the government is under no obligation to allow you to walk around freely, being here illegally is enough of a reason.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

So it's time to recognize that an independent judicial system no longer exists. It's been replaced with a punitive system that functions as a weapon to enact revenge and obedience to the gangster-in-chief.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Abolish ICE.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is no judicial system anymore, and this proves it.

3 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Rulings - do they have any meaning with this administration?

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Nope. ICE Barbie told them to ignore them.

It's all about the cruelty! It makes the MAGAts happy!

They are there to check ID's. They have already claimed they have no 'TSA' experience so they do NOT need to search peoples bags more than the scanners already do.

How long before one of these yahoos leaves a gun in a bathroom?

How long before some rightfully stressed and frustrated traveler just wants to get past the bullshit and get to their flight gets upset and is shot or injured by these gestapo thugs?

3 days ago | Likes 91 Dislikes 3

To avoid long lines at the airport buy generic tacticool outfit and a facemask and walk past all the security as one of them.

3 days ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Why wait for a frustrated traveler? There's lots of women and children to shoot who aren't white in the airport. They just need to remember to yell it's coming right at me, before opening a fire with an AK-47. 🤦

3 days ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

You think being white is safe? Safer than non-white, sure, but def not safe.

3 days ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Being white is barely safer than others with these animals

"The Trump administration keeps losing court challenges regarding its mass immigration arrests.

In recent months, federal judges have ruled more than 7,000 times that Immigration and Customs Enforcement illegally arrested people without giving them the chance to prove they could safely remain in their communities while their immigration cases played out, a Politico analysis found.

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"In many of these cases the Trump administration didn’t offer a counterargument when migrants challenged their detentions.

Instead, administration lawyers have been regularly agreeing to bond hearings or the full release of migrants right away, citing a lack of legal opinions or relevant documentation they could use to support the original detentions, the analysis found.

The Independent has contacted the Justice Department and ICE for comment.

"Since taking office, the Trump administration has pursued a campaign of mass immigration arrests and detention.

As of early February, according to the most recent government figures, more than 68,000 people were in ICE detention, most of whom lacked a prior criminal conviction.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"Many have been in detention for prolonged periods of time based on the administration’s legal theory that most arrested immigrants aren’t eligible for bond hearings, even as cases can take years to move through the system.

This has prompted a wave of emergency habeas corpus challenges, where federal officials must justify before a judge why they are still holding someone in detention.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"Between January and mid-February of this year, there were between 300 and 400 such petitions every day, a Politico analysis found.

Trump administration officials have spoken openly in court of being overwhelmed.

One DOJ lawyer in Minnesota made headlines by telling a judge, “This job sucks.”

Hundreds of federal judges have rejected the Trump administration bond policy, though regional appeals courts have issued contrasting opinions on the practice.

They need new masks.

They're dragging passengers out screaming and detaining them. They're not there to help. It's just a new hunting ground.

They're working hard to rig the midterms but please please US don't fuck that one. The damage is already huge and will take years to repair, maybe decades.

3 days ago | Likes 151 Dislikes 1

I'm worried California may have already screwed the pooch, but I'm still gonna do what I personally can.

We have primaries for governor June 2.

In CA, the two candidates with the most votes moves forward to midterms. Regardless of party.

The (D) vote is split among EIGHT candidates. (R) is two. They're leading with (D) Stalwell up there too. Stalwell may not even live in CA, and has a history of being sympathetic to ICE.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mate, they've pissed on hundred year old allies. This damage is will not be undone in anything less than tennis of decades, if ever.

Sunken cost fallacy

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I promise a lot of us want to, but at this point what does it matter when both options prove themselves the same? The last year has me untrusting and unsure of ANYONE in power

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This may not be what you're saying, but it sounds like "both sides are the same," and that is not a true statement. I apologize if that is not what you meant.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh don't worry, we will fuck it up in a way you can't even imagine

3 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

The midterms are already done, the last primary was the last real chance. The US is done as the world knew it for at least the next 10yrs, history has told us how these things go. It would take a literal miracle at this point to stop what is happening.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

USA will never recover from this administration. If your system allows this type of incompetence to rise to the top and stay there, you can never be trusted again.

3 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Dude I am going to do my absolute best to not only go out and vote myself, but to encourage others, and to take measures to make sure that the voting locations are safe, and there is no voter intimidation or other nonsense going on. That said, I have dim expectations. This one is going to take open rebellion that we haven't really historically seen before. I not really sure what that looks like if it were to happen, but suffice it to say that we are in for a good decade of ugly shit.

Every US election has been rifged since day one. Voting cant hurt but fascism isnt stopped by voting

3 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

Correct. Most US elections are rigged to the right, by design.

3 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Given that the amount of left wing politicians in the entire US can be counted on one hand I'd wager theyre ALL rigged to the right. Since capitalism seeks to perpetuate itself and leftists inherently threaten that by wanting to dismantle capitalism and all. It's why liberals keep siding with fascists to pass laws that make it so leftists cant legally win elections, such as the DNC's superdelegates

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yep, the "left" wing of US politics is what's considered vaguely center right anywhere else.
It's not right vs left, it's "pure evil" vs "meh ok".

3 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Worse than that, it's literal fascists vs fascism collaborators: https://www.quorum.us/data-driven-insights/may-2018-congressional-activity-report/ that's democrats collaborating with Trump in his first term more than they did with Dubya after 9/11, when they were giving him everything he wanted.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I hate to say, I think it's too late already

3 days ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Bold to assume it can be fixed at all. I doubt the US will ever be able to regain the standing it once had with other western nations.

3 days ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 2

I mean maybe in 300 years it will be better, but not next year for sure.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who ever gets in next will need to publicly and officially condemn the actions of the current regime.

And that won't fix things, but it's a necessary start.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The only way things are getting fixed it a complete tear down and rebuild of government, and people in this country are too scared to go against the grain or standard.

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I agree 1000%, shit needs to be rebuilt from the ground up or else the same shit over and over. Let alone all the systems they fd up and have back doors into now.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean, if Germany can manage over the past 80 years, I'm sure the US would be able to as well. But yeah, might take a long time

3 days ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Just not in our lifetime

3 days ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Japan, too.

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Na, japan has gone way out of their way to try to rewrite history. Like they have been fighting against memorializing several world heritage sites and legally obstruct and remove memorials. Also most of asia still absolutely hates japan, it's really only the west that gives japan a pass. Mostly because the us wanted to station troops there post ww2.

3 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

To be fair, that was helped by the fact that a foreign power came in and rooted out the rot. Ain't no way we are fixing this simply through voting.

3 days ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

And germany had (has) a couple close powerfull neighbors. I doubt canada/mexico can have that kind of power over the US, and i dont think it would come from oversea either
