Not really at all. I can climb in and out and not wake the kids. The nuisance in wind is the flapping. But that’s all tents really.
We used to do S24O, or sub-24 hour overnighter. Drive out , setup camp, eat dinner, sleep, breakfast, home/work. I might try that in May/Jun
Then you’re taking resources from a region that needs them for the people that live there.
I generally think so. What people are saying is what about when you get gas, buy food/supplies in areas that need them, maybe get lost...
This was Labor Day, 2019. They’re are definitely areas that you can go, but the general consensus is that it’s irresponsible.

Also, you can set up on rough ground without issue, your bedding is all ready to go when you open the tent, it’s super comfortable...
