Well as I understand t they did offer money to everyone, but no one took it. They finally had to make people get off. (1/2)
They asked everyone before the flight, they all refused, they asked again on the plane and they all still refused, so they made 4 ppl leave.
As much as United was rude to him, he technically had to give up his seat if they asked him to. He might be able to sue for their methods.
