piss off

By that metric though, an Anteater is one of the world's deadliest land mammals.

We cannot legislate ourselves out of the corruption we find ourselves in that even in the unlikely event any of it passed, said legislation will simply be overturned by later legislators, and we can no longer pretend that we will ever again be able to pass meaningful constitutional amendments that benefit society.

While this is always a concern, the reality is that almost no company that doesn't work directly with military in a large capacity are ever going to verify your service record or even if you've served should you decide to omit certain elements when applying. Many companies are supposed to, but they don't.

Are you implying you don't feel guilty if the animal in question is stupid or ugly?

Everybody dies eventually. I simply wish it to come sooner for some than others.

Can't post pictures of houses because of dendraphobia, can't post about climate related things because of ecophobia, can't post about intimate stuff because of gendraphobia, can't post pics of people wearing clothing because of koumpounophobia, can't post about babies because of teratophobia, can't post about cats or dogs because of zoophobia, the list goes on, and on, and on, and on. Don't be a dipshit.

You can't just 'wash off the starch'. Potatoes are 20% dry matter by weight on average (the rest is liquid), and like 60% of that dry weight is starch. If you washed off the starch, assuming that's even possible, you would be left with almost no potato. Same thing with people talking about rinsing the starch off rice except in that case it's 100% dry weight and like 80%+ starch. You're just rinsing off lose particulate material that can gum up and get sticky.

Your different cells performing different functions can't exist independently for even a brief moment, nor can your organs. The four types of zooids can act independently, even if they cannot exist independently for long. They're kind of in that in-between phase of animal though, so it muddies the more strict definitions. The zooids are attached, but don't actually share any other link like nervous system or circulatory system.

Is there something wrong with these songs?
Maybe there's something wrong with the audience - Against Me!, Don't Lose Touch

Funny story but my Dad and Step Mom were on a trip through Paris and they saw an artist doing amazing romantic sketch work of couples. They watch for a while and decided why not. The artist got up to take a break and another artist sat down just as they approached, but they paid the fee and took a seat. Turns out the second artist was a cartoonist like this. My Step Mom cried for the rest of the day and my Dad said he made some threats at the guy but neither understood the other anyway.

There are a tremendous number of discoveries that were only mathematically based before concrete proof of their existence was found. Dismissal based simply on math is kind of like looking only at your feet in the forest and insisting that there are no trees. The math is how we determine where to look, and often the math itself can be further invested to actually rule out possible ideas. And it normally isn't scientist with the shit soundbites, it's shit journalists who don't understand science.

It was good. It wasn't great, but good. Fassbender does give a terrific performance while wearing a giant head mask the entire film, but it works. It's somewhat stupid at times in a good way, but also had some depth and a bit sad.

Children are so adorable when they're caked in dirt from a hard day's labor in the field. They don't need an education to get a job when a business can just exploit them early on. The child yearns for the mines.

Once the Department of Education is gutted, each state will get to set their own education standards more. Expect bible study to be mandatory in several states.

History doesn't mesh with religious texts. Evolution doesn't mesh with religious texts. The solar system doesn't mesh with religious texts. Every branch of science is at odds with religious texts. Yet religion is still around. They'll just spin extraterrestrial life as their chosen creator's secret side project. Sucks, but it's going to be a slow, slow crawl away from superstition over several centuries, with chances of revivalism at any point.

I definitely could not do the murder vibes one. Work stuff should stay at work and never intrude on the home.

The hell do you mean by 'These days'. I'm old, moved around a lot growing up. Kids stinking to high heaven has always been a thing. At one school, on a military base of all places, we had two brothers who were called the Pissboys, because they literally smelled like pee. It's one part neglectful parents, one part rebellious kids, and one part childhood depression, and it's been around since we crawled out of the slime.

Kid Rock was always about suburbanite white boys larping at being wild and untamed poor trash while living under their moderately successful parent's rules. There was never any pretense at all about authenticity. Those same fans evolved today into MAGA asshats that will talk about how rough they had it growing up and how hard they worked to get where they are today all on their own. Kid Rock simply went with where the fans went in song topics to stay a smidge relevant to someone out there.

Blarf, meant to add more to that in that, my bad. In regards to Nugent, unlike Fisher, I think he was actually writing about his own personal fantasies and not simply making up a scenario to write a story song about. Just wanted to toss it out there that not every song is meant as a songwiter's personal feelings, ideas, and opinions being poured out into the song. Nugent's were. But not everyone is such a piece of trash.
