Whedon basically writes the same shit over and over with different names. I only saw a few episodes of Firefly at a friend's house back in the day, immediately recognized Whedon's writing and character design, and noped out.
A bunch of unemployed lefties should join and then not do any of the bullshit they're told to. Just get in the way and impede the other guys as long as you can until they fire you.

I like the congressional salary cap but that is not where they make their money, anyway, so it may not have the desired effect. The stock trading rule helps, but we probably need restrictions on other types of investing, as well, and we need rules around conflicts of interest so they're not making laws just to benefit their businesses.
They already gerrymander all the time in places where it's illegal and usually get away with it. The solution to that is proportional representation, which all but eliminates the benefits they get from gerrymandering. In addition to RCV, eliminate primaries for maximum benefit. No more appealing to the fringe then moving to the center."Cap CEO pay" should apply to all employees and directors. Nobody's pay should be more than 35x the lowest paid FT employee.continued...
Conspiracy theorists have long pushed back on federal ID as "government tracking". The irony is, in most cases where we might use a federal ID, we end up using our social security number, which is basically a federal ID but with no security and it exposes you to financial fraud. We basically have all the "bad" parts of a federal ID and none of the good.
I haven't seen Mosh in forever
#7 People are often surprised to find out that, for the big name projects -- Linux, k8s, OpenShift, Ansible, Python, VSCode, Rust, React, Firefox, Chromium, etc -- something like 75+% of that code is written by paid employees.
She lost by 14 points in 2022. I expect she'll do better this time, but I don't know if it'll be enough.
The irony is, because we've got months of warning, informed voters will make sure they have sufficient id. Uniformed voters, aka the Republican base, will overwhelmingly be the ones who can't vote.

#45 In real life, unless you die instantaneously in the middle of a wonderful moment, you're going to age, break down, and suffer. Books and movies have happy endings because they finish before the end. Don't spend your life seeking a happy ending or you'll miss the opportunities to make the other parts happy.
I've lost track of how many names I've seen assigned to this photo, but I believe she's a model/photographer that works under the pseudonym Nemo Valkyrja: https://www.deviantart.com/nemovalkyrja
These are people who believe Hilary leads a cult of cannibal, vampire, child sex-traffickers from the basement of a pizzeria; this testimony had zero effect on them except maybe to frustrate them that she wasn't captured and executed instead of interrogated.
This is one of those rare situations where using comic sans wouldn't have been a terrible idea

This is what Sean does, complains and insults people, and literally cries when they insult him back. He's among the most disliked people on the roster, and his fights being boring as fuck ain't helping.
Creating appropriate styles instead of using spaces and tabs to align everything also works wonders.

Some medications can cause this, too. One of the antidepressants I took in my teens had me seeing all white for a few seconds every time I got up.
Us gen-xers grew up in cigarette smoke, too. I'm almost a millennial and even I was 25 when they banned smoking in public. Almost all of us were smokers, also. Out of all the people I knew in my late teens, it was only me and 2 others that didn't smoke.More likely it's just better healthcare/medicine and nutrition than our grandparents had.
Looks like a 12 on 12 so there's not going to be debris on that roof, and I doubt that building is heated so ice sheets are unlikely, but I'd still be concerned about the weight of the snow if it's been 32°F or higher.
There are videos of congressmen doing this 15-20 years ago. I'm not sure it's even illegal (it should be).
Unless you can fix my chronic injuries, no thanks
Rather than just the number of mentions, I'd like to see the number of accusations/accusers, and number of mentions directly tied to abusive behavior. Just mentions are easily dismissed as "probably just discussing business, real estate, charities" by people who don't want to believe.
Or that there is and he's exactly who the Tanakh says he is
Why is this bullshit being treated as news?
