If Iran is an enemy of the US, wouldn't they want to _help_ Trump get elected so that he could destroy the country from the inside out?
The worst part of this is that the American public chose this. Trump isn't exactly a brilliant orator, or schemer, or anything like that. He's a dumb fat slob who practically boasts about his corruption, cruelty and criminality. And yet tens of millions looked at him and thought "yeah, that's my guy!" Even now, when his detachment from reality becomes more absurd by the day, they still stand by him.
Could be explain why being kind to each other, caring about truth and integrity, and trying to make everyone's lives better (including his) are bad things?
He just can't do it, can he? He just cannot act like a calm, rational human being, even once.

Even more frightening is that he keeps getting away with it. Having a madman at the helm is bad enough, but the way everyone in positions of power keeps quiet or even eggs him on is horrific and sickening.
For years, I likened eliminating taxes and 'costly' govt services to a company trying to reduce costs by just firing all the workers. Sure, in the short-term profits might go up, but then nobody would be around to actually produce anything, so when stock dries up, the company just ... dies.I thought it was a nice, easy-to-understand example.
