Hah yeah thought the same. Imagine having drone and actioncam technology but still using incandescent bulbs...
If you think Photoshop automates everything for you, you're a fucking idiot.
Additionally, when people bring this argument up in relation to gun control (not saying this is necessarily your motive here) my answer is "So what? Why would you even link the two?" It's like someone's argument against removing lead from paint in Europe being "Yeah but they still use DDT in Africa". They're two completely separate problems with separate and unrelated solutions.
This is a dubious claim that gets bandied around. It conflates heat deaths with A/C use/possession or lack thereof. Saying this is largely due to government regulation is a huge oversimplification; which government(s)? Which regulation(s)? AFAK there are no laws in Europe that ban A/C, just ones that limit temperatures to e.g. 25C or whatever. In many cases, heat deaths are more because it's just not customary, or normal to have A/C in your home (I'm British and I don't know anyone who does) 1/2
This kills the house.
Thanks, bot.
Imagine thinking $3 a gallon is expensive...
There is good in this world, Mr. Frodo.
There are literally signs on the beach saying don't do this.
Yes. It happened in 2017.
You, uh... OK there, buddy?
I mean, that *is* how you pronounce it... (let the fireworks commence)
Wait, you say "good-byes"?
It does say in big letters about 10 seconds in...
I mean, pretty sure "everyone would be happier" if you didn't have such a bloodsucking bullshit system in the first place...
Yeah, that's fair. No, no attempt at a straw man; it's just that you know as well as I do that for many people, especially in the US sphere of influence, socialism and communism are seen as the same thing and therefore automatically bad.
I think the point is not that it's "far left" or "far right" (because that's pretty subjective from place to place - where I'm from the Democrats would be considered right wing and the Republicans far right), it's more about authoritarianism. In this case, in the US, the part of the political spectrum heading towards authoritarianism is the right. There is a difference between socialism and democratic socialism.
Holy shit, that brings back memories...
But they didn't ignore the curvature of the earth...
Ah, Winair, the only airline that flies to my island, because you need pilots that can do crazy shit like this...
Most of the sound in nature documentaries is added in post.
Go home Universe. You're drunk.
Absolutely we do not.
You've never seen "radical left" once in your life. What you really mean is "people on the political spectrum who think people are more important than money or religion".
