This is why they have a lot of drama
Even with separation of church and state the government isn't giving it to a religious institution but the family, I say this as an atheist
I prefer the approach the family gets ~60% of what the public school would spend and they could us it at any school even religious
But public schools also fail students at least this would give the option to the family. Neither are perfect but I would rather have choice
