Sadly, our unions are no longer as powerful as they used to be… Capitalism is winning here too SMH

#16 The factory must grow

Just checked (again) the foundry spits out 36i/s while the red circuit assemblers take 6x2.5i/s so we could keep up with 12 assemblers

... and on Nauvis (very traditional design)

Very nice designs! So far, my factories for green circuits look like this on Vulcanus

Not really a solution to anything. I saw it while playing around with belt designs and I just built it. I think it's fun and I haven't seen it before so I thought I'd share it to see what people think.

The only design I can think of in 10x9 is this, but I wouldn't say it's trivial. Did you have something else in mind?

At an assembler layout that trades building resources for space. This blueprint packs 6 assemblers in a 12x9 area without using long inserters or belt weaving. Hope you like it :-)

Couple things I need to fix for a perfect blueprint but it works!

Sometimes, it's because it's too expensive to buy/manufacture automated machines to do a finite number of something. Humans are often more flexible (although their mental health isn't) and, in some country, dirt cheap.

#36 Perhaps, Natasha, because you expect another person to be wired just like you and implicitly understand your batshit crazy mood swings as marks of affections. Turns out, different people think and feel differently than you do and maybe YOU should try to communicate your feelings better if you want to be understood, you lame-ass potato-princess. Good for you, Mr Squid; her leaving is a blessing in disguise, trust me. You dodged a bullet on that one.

For desktop I recommend uBlock (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock>). For mobile I recommend Duck Duck Go (iOS https://apps.apple.com/us/app/duckduckgo-duck-ai-optional/id663592361, Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duckduckgo.mobile.android&pli=1). Ads are a cancer, by disabling them we can starve the business model of most of the web in the hope a better one will emerge. Peace.
