Yeah. If you somehow maintained those speeds for 300 miles, the difference is 6h vs 5h15.
I routinely get overtaken when driving at the limit of 20mph in the city centre when the light in front of me has just turned red anyway. Impatient people don't have the awareness to realise that such actions aren't worth it.

Your body will metabolise muscle, which it needs to... move before fat whose literal main purpose is to store energy? You actually believe that?

You've just been antagonistic for no reason and are now misattributing why you got downvoted.

Look, we get that you don't like America and it probably hurts if you grew up there, but this is just lashing out ignorantly and harmfully.

If you call people safety Nazis you can expect they will think you disagree with what they say. You're welcome

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You're getting downvotes because you're accusing people of being "safety Nazis" for saying don't tailgate, and then said that people shouldn't tailgate, suggesting you aren't understanding what has been said yet are still willing to insult people.
Your other comments sound like you're off your fucking nut

It's not "dressing manly" or indeed dressing anything if you cobble together styles from eleven different centuries and localities.

If you maintain a 2 second gap, noone will accuse you of tailgating. When I see someone tailgating me, I'd estimate they're about 20m away or less at 70mph which is less than a half second gap. If I had to brake suddenly, they wouldn't even realise before they hit me.
I routinely see people leaving more like a 5m gap, too.

Those people just don't understand what a safe following distance looks like. Pure ignorance.

#27 if someone is driving too slowly, you can still not tailgate them. Keeping a safe distance isn't a matter of politeness, it's a matter of avoiding crashes.

Comparing stats from different countries with different legal systems has a lot of opportunities for whoever's doing it to get it very wrong whether by mistake or on purpose. So I'm not even minded to believe it's a proper comparison without a source

Most European countries have some form of mandatory id. It simplifies a lot of things. Of course, the UK doesn't have a good history of government tech projects, so ...

The person I replied to was saying that children shouldn't be allowed to work around naked adults. If it's not because it's harmful, then why not? If you don't claim that it's harmful, then I don't know why you're replying unless you think there's some other reason to prevent people from doing things.

"Our brains evolved having to deal with something every single day so you need damn good evidence to say it's mentally harmful" is less moronic. Turns out if you summarise something badly you can make it sound bad, who knew

If you still think nudity is inherently harmful, how does anyone survive in cultures where people go nude to the sauna from a young age?

I can only assume this is the old puritan streak speaking through you.

If we evolved in an environment where something is universal I think the burden of proof is on demonstrating that it is mentally harmful if you believe that. It's not impossible, it's just obviously unlikely. How do Finns cope without trauma going naked to the sauna? Etc.
I made the point about sexualisation to make it clear that this doesn't mean Giuffre wasn't harmed by being at the spa.

Seeing a penis is not what's harmful. Being treated as a sexual being when a child is what's harmful - including if you are flashed, because flashing is a sexual thing.
But humanity survived millennia before anyone thought to invent y fronts and noone was being traumatised by seeing dongs.

But the scope was not universal. Generally it is only especially egregious crimes - such as war crimes - where the superior orders defence fails.

Self care is something you like or need, just for you, ignoring external responsibilities. If you can't find anything you like, or can't motivate yourself to do anything you need to do for yourself, you are probably depressed and should seek help; it's a prime symptom.
