Happens so much more than you realize. There's a whole "barefoot club" where people give each other advice on how to avoid rules for shoes, masks, etc. Working in security, I was hit with everything from clearly fake doctors notes, to people reciting the constitution at me and daring me to have them arrested, and I was just like... whatever. You know the risks of stepping on broken glass or whatever if you're this willing to fight me about shoes. Also by law I can't call BS on medical claims.

Not thinking anything is real has been weening me off of social media though. I'm definitely HERE a lot less often than I used to be. Why bother looking at things if you won't believe they exist anyway?

What in the lack of safety measures?

Just repackaging the rhetoric that gets thrown around here a lot. Nice fun fact tho.

"If every single slave just unanimously rebelled at once then the problem would just be solved. Clearly they're too lazy."

When I was homeless, shelter networks were a literal life saver. Not only for the obvious reason of sleeping out of the cold. But also they knew where to go to get help for various problems, including needing new clothes, and a safe place to list as a mailing address. Something a lot of people don't think about it no mailing address = no ability to apply for most jobs, and also showering and laundry were struggles that took a lot of every day.

I always love your art when I see it in the gallery. Personally I'm better at listening to the criticism because I always assume I'm wrong and stupid anyway.

If the train doesn't move at all I stand there like a jackass being an hour 45 minutes late for work

I used to climb over/under trains like that till the cops caught me. Assholes watch out for that. :\

Trump was the designated fall guy of the group. If somebody needed to have their name be on a failing property or a scummy sale or an unpaid contract, that would be Trump. If they needed a place to bury a body, Trump. Etc. He was supposed to be a good little patsy and help the other billionaires launder their money but at some point decided he was tired of being the loser and wanted to beat them all. Remember how NONE of the rich expected he'd go anywhere in 2016?

He asked Russia for help and gave Russia a lot of intel which Russia then fed to Iran so they could target their drones better

Worth remembering that history books were often written by detached, wealthy, worldly people who saw commonfolk as "dumb dirty hicks" and didn't care to prove their own assumptions wrong.

I never liked pickpocketing in the old D&D games. The success/failure was just a percentage with nothing you could really do to influence it, so it was basically a guaranteed way to piss off the entire city unless you reload saves a lot.

I don't believe this. Everybody that I've seen start to question Trump is just looking for a different right wing influencer to tell them that they're smart or whatever. The extended family members who denounce me for being queer are still denouncing and still saying "But at least it wasn't Kamala" because they STILL do think that Trump was the less bad option.

It's wild how quickly and casually they change their color and texture, just bebopping along like a strobe light

I was raised Christian and lemme tell ya that was always a problem. Even when I was a "True Believer", I noticed how a lot of the church-goers around me would act real thoughtful and polite but always be quick to degrade anybody they thought was a foreigner, or a communist, or gay, or whatever. And they really liked to sit around and make up these murder fantasies like, "If somebody ever broke into my house and tried to touch my kids or take away my bible, they'd get to meet my loaded S&W!"

Yo. I was raised religious and I speak from experience when I talk about what's wrong with this country. It's not atheists running death cults in Utah.

Probably left it behind cause she didn't want it. Like that one baby monkey the internet was briefly obsessed with. Have you seen the nesting behaviors where some birds will just straight up break the bones of their smallest hatchlings and throw them out of the tree? It's a thing.

it all makes sense when you realize most MAGA are religious (and USA is 70% Christian, roughly) and Christians have always been about projecting their wishful, biased thinking onto reality.
