They're two character from the show, part of a squad of recon marines deployed to Iraq. To say they had an... interesting take on the politics of that war is an understatement.

I don't know if you ever saw the Generation Kill tv series, but I'd kill to see the character Brad and Ray from that show give a tactical assessment on Trump's logic.

How to gaslight a bumblebee queen into thinking she is getting FAT in under 24 hours.

The irony of Netanyahu and his entire bloodline being wiped out in the war he started would be glorious. Like, that is the definition of "fuck around and find out", holy crap.

Well, you can always pray that he dies in a way that makes it impossible for him to be a martyr.

Just picture him walking down the steps of air force one and he dies of explosive diarrhea, leaving a giant brown stain that can never be denied.

Good luck turning that death into a martyr.

These days having empathy for Israeli's is getting to be really hard. After years of watching them commit Genocide, start petty fights and even wars with their neighbors,,,

Yeah, I'm gonna be real with you chief, at this point they are literally asking for anything that happens.

And while I'm not cheering for any of it, I also won't shed a tear for them at this point.

"real and lasting" is not a decade. Obama was basically a decade.

You're looking at, optimistically, probably 15~ years minimum to undo most of the more noticeable damage. (Keep in mind you'll likely need to rebuild entire databases/command structures from scratch.)

And to actually begin generating the same sort of trust you use to have internationally, it'll probably require your country to stay the course for 30~+ years before you begin to approach being where you used to be.

Context: The video is actually professionals training for ice rescues. That is literally the job they are training for, and it is entirely safe in *this specific scenario*.

To be fair, one small leak with electricity and you're also a fireball, it's just a slower more stealthy fire.

If you mean the modern ceramic/glass stovetops, yeah they clean easy. They also get dirty really easy, there's risks of scratching the ceramic/glass.

And because everything nowadays is digital if/*when* it breaks it's going to be insanely expensive to repair/replace.

These older stoves were built sturdy, built to last, and have a lot of functions that you have to pay big money to get as "extras" nowadays.

You know perfectly well that there's 'american' in the sense of "from (one of) the american continents" and there's 'American' (which is usually the main and primary definition most people will think of) meaning "a person from the United States of America"'
The vast, VAST majority of Canadians probably will never respond well to being referred to as 'american'.
Especially in the current climate wherein many view the USA as, at best, a country led by someone seeming intent on trying to bully us.

Fix your own problems. You all keep ranting on about freedoms and right to bear arms etc. Stop trying to get others to fix the problems you create.

You know, the funniest thing is "capitalism" wasn't the original thing that was supposed to make america one of the greatest countries. Democracy was.

Capitalism came later, when the rich people realized how much americans behave like sheep.

Ah yes, punch Trump get tackled by Secret Service etc. Possibly start a war? (Trump would absolutely try to use that as an excuse) Is that what you think world leader's are meant to do?

Carney is a diplomat. His entire job is to avoid going with the first impulse (punch Trump) and try to get a deal for Canadians.

You can hate that Carney didn't call him out, but that's not his job. That's the job of the american people.

Every single surgeon in the world, given an unlimited budget and time couldn't fix Trump.

Unfortunately, big business in Canada employs... Canadians! I'm not saying I'm not disappointed in the lack of elbows up, but I can acknowledge that Carney has to at least try to get the tariff's eased up or lifted.

Then you're doing your part, I'm proud of you, but my statement stands. A lot of americans aren't doing anything. They express outrage online, but don't do anything.
