I was told not to put pennies on train tracks because it could derail a train and kill everyone. Now I feel that might have been untrue.
The beauty of federalism is that blanket statements like that are false. Each state is unique.
Because we allow the central government too much power. It's easier to buy 535 people in Washington than 7383 state legislators.
The world has moved on? Where to? Because they didn't move on to the moon.

I've been a part of shenanigans like this at a minor league ballpark. They have recruiters signing people up before games. Stressful job.
I once passed a bill in student Congress to equip military vehicles with Photon Originating Refective Krypton (lights). It cost billions.
The best part of having kids is telling them Weird Al makes original songs and everyone else copies him.
I wish I could find a show that made me feel the way Lost made me feel. Legion was close.

I'll never forget the Christmas I got the Rolling Thunder. Nothing like a toy ICBM launcher. Our Cobra Command Center got nuked a lot.
The one in my town charges per person now instead per car like back in the day. Used to be $4 per car. We'd cram a dozen into a pickup.
I didn't know how much I looked forward to Hawkeye meeting Yondu in the MCU until now.
