My cube was layered, The outside was transparent, but not glass, firm, cool to the touch, deeper inside was a solid blue material.

yeah, I'll admit that the layout is much more different than previous models, so it takes a while to get used to, but its very worh it.
EEE here. i used to have an TI-83+... i switched to a TI Nspire. Best decision of my life. Complex systems of equations, matrices, and more
What are you talking about?Ive used both and the Nspire is MUCH easier to read and input functions into.. 2 words, matrices, limits
an Nspire can do everything an 89 can and more, also the display and input is much cleaner, hence it runs circles around the 89.
This reminds me of magus's castle.....
