What a dump

This "grabage truck" probably costs more than most people's homes.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Down by the river!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

this is not a fucking garbage truck, it's nicer than my house

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is not a garbage truck. This was special built. Saw a show on it.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is a Bigfoot hunter that drives around the country in one of these... The spare tires are massive.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a bad ass off-road luxury home.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I believe the bike is a KTM 500 EXC if anyone cares to know.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does Top Gear now about this...

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TOTALLY NOT A BAIT AND SWITCH

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I sleep in a racing car. Do you?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wish!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's like a RV, but not.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If Oscar the Grouch was rich.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Niiiice

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have SO many questions! OP Are you there?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I am but I probably don't have the answers.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@rosefacekillah

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

NEED THIS

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Man I would love to travel the country in this

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

So what are all those switches for in #2 ?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#3 *

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My best guess: to raise/lower the top, heating/ac, ect.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Controls tires, suspension, electrical systems, lights and in some models the rear lift

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why can we not see a photo of the bathroom? Is there water/heat/electricity? How? And what are all those buttons above the desk area?

11 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

http://www.unicat.com/img/TC52allround.13-560.jpg 600 litre water tank, diesel powered central heating, electricity by battery. Controlpanel

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I know it seems nice, but from experience living in a small space like that suuuucks.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The tiny house movement is a thing, though. Lots of people love it, I guess.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know, and some of them seem really neat, but we had to live in an RV for a while and I always felt cramped.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jessie. We have to cook

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Haha! Nice!

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

why is this the first thing I thought of hahahaha

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

+1 I was looking for this!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's all fun and games until someone turns on the compactor.

11 years ago | Likes 84 Dislikes 6

Fuuuuck

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*Absent mindedly puts coffee down on switch* Oh no! My home! My family! All my stuff! SHIIIT!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Okay, but why do I see so many windows on the inside pics, but none on the outside pics?

11 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 1

Honestly I'd be ok with just fluorescent panels full of daylight bulbs. Feels like windows, and you get to decide when sunrise/sunset is.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The top third lifts up to reveal the windows and add extra height/room.

11 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

And some of the panels on the sides seem to line up with the window locations.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My thoughts exactly.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The exterior pictures show the roof/cap collapsed, blocking the windows. The interior shots show the roof raised, kinda like a tent trailer.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Looks like frosted glass, so it appears white from the outside, but still lets light in inside

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

how does one sit in that chair? is that a chair?

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Did no one else notice they had the same chair in an episode of Scrubs? Oh, right. Just me. *sobs alone*

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is a kneeling chair. I have often used them. They are great for keeping your back straight.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Butt on the top angled pad, knees on the bottom angled pad. Some people prefer them. Fucks my knees something chronic.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck that chair. Sitting at a computer shouldn't be work. Oh dammit that's my job :(

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Those chairs hurt my back way less than standard office chairs though. They keep you on your center of gravity.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

White trash home.

11 years ago | Likes 3039 Dislikes 17

It's white trash beautiful.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right?! Looks like a dump!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

This comment is going places

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

son of a bitch

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TIL pictures can make interiors look spacious af

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You are technically correct. Which is of course... the best kind of correct.

11 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

LMAO! where does one even sleep, there is no bed!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's either A) in the loft or B) the couch turns into one. Most campers have dual purpose couches, etc.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sleep? With ownership of this vehicle sleep is not an option.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm SOO pissed you didn't say "white trash MOBILE home."

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well damn, now I am too.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One man's trash is another man's home....

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well done.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bet they also own Mustangs and madras. *spits*

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And also blue trash and green rash and brown trash and black trash and yellow trash and orange trash...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see what you did there.

11 years ago | Likes 113 Dislikes 5

Professional grade, too. He did, like, three totally separate things in as many words there.

11 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

yes

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you flatter me.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I reaaaaaally want to test out your username.....

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it used to be true...but I've sadly become a liar because I put up some photography I wanted to keep protected.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Very relevant response

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

FUCK YEAH MISTER WHITE!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think at that point it can no longer be considered a "garbage truck." You can buy these ready made now if you've got the cash.

11 years ago | Likes 1042 Dislikes 5

It didn't even start as a garbage truck. Its a Unicat. A purpose made expedition vehicle.

11 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

See?? See?? I told him so! It's a heavy truck chassis.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can we talk about the ergonomic knee chair/torture device?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh, must be a Euro thing.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They only look really uncomfortable.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you have a link? I'm very interested.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Google "expedition vehicle," there's quite a few outfits making them now

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks =)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends on who moves in really.

11 years ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 1

Next on MTV's Cribz...we have an exclusive peak at Soulja Boy's abode! Stay tuned!

11 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Its still a refurbished garbage truck

11 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 12

"Still better than fightin' in a fuckin' basement."

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope. It was never a garbage truck.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That doesn't look like a garbage truck at all. I think op's just confused by the frame over the cab.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a refurbished heavy truck chassis. The "Garbage" part seems to be missing xD

11 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

So are those shipping carrier homes still not refurbished? If it's one that someone mentioned you can just generically buy, I agree. BUT

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

So if you take a 2015 MAN truck model that is used for garbage trucks & put a camper on it, it's a refurbished garbage truck? Most are new.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

there is a chance it was from a garbage truck. Looks an awful lot like the ones around here

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Unicat's brochure: http://unicat.net/pdf/EX63HDS-MANTGA6x6-exposee-en.pdf Seems to be the source of these very pics.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Look at you go, solving mysteries.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Probably not. Man sells the chassis to various companies. Some build garbage trucks out of them. Unicat builds these (very spendy) RV's.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Beats a hacked up van!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not really they didn't use the existing box all they used was the frame and the cab....

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's not garbage, it's "gar-bahj"

11 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Gar-beach

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Garbeige.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice! It's usually that color too haha

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

is that the French name?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

honestly I would consider one of these before I consider buying a house now, house prices in Australia are ludicrous

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You may have a point there...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These things are super sophisticated and can run upwards of $600,000 USD.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sydney – $843,994 Melbourne – $615,068 Brisbane – $473,924 Adelaide – $459,258 Perth – $604,822 2/2 so they are expensive but not much worse

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

these are the house prices from a real estate survey from 2014 Canberra – $573,326 Hobart – $322,274 Darwin – $667,115 1/2

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

for me to get a house built in my town in Australia is going to run 400-500k AUD minimum and I live somewhere relatively cheap

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can get you 95% of the price of the house plus mortgage insurance at 3.99% over 30 years. I can get you 100% of the price of the 1/2

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/2 Unicat at 4.5% - 5.5% but you'd have to pay it off over 7 years.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where can you buy one? Not that i could afford it, but it'd be nice to look at

11 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

You can get a Deuce with a box on it & make it into your own camper. I want to get a (Russian) ZIL 157 & make an expedition vehicle from it.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Unicat.com

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Google "Expedition vehicle" or "off road RV" they're all the rage with people who have too much money on their hands now

11 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 1

loool thought you wrote "exhibition vehicle".

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Lol, no, these rigs actually DO things other than just be expensive.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Damn some of them go for >$300k. My house growing up just sold for $98k. Seems a little steep.

11 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Eh, some are going for ~$200k , and ~$120k models are in the works. A new Mercedes Sprinter ambulance costs ~$140 (stocked). So not too bad.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup. Hey if that's their thing and they got the cash, more power to 'em. I'll stick to a couple of sleeping bags in back of the Excursion

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Why are there windows visible in the interior shots, but the exterior shows no such windows?

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Nice catch. I now call shenanigans or a different sort of truck.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The top third lifts up to reveal the windows and add extra height/room.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What the others said; http://www.unicat.com/img/EX70HD2M-MANTGA6x6.2-560.jpg

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They must be seriously stretching the interior pics to make it look bigger because those windows look 3X wider than in the exterior shot.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The top third lifts up to reveal the windows and add extra height/room.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

because its a transformer. and I mean that literally.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The exterior pictures show the roof/cap collapsed, blocking the windows. The interior shots show the roof raised, kinda like a tent trailer.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wheres the pooper at

11 years ago | Likes 129 Dislikes 0

I imagine the door right across from the stove.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The world is your pooper.

11 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

Just don't poop in alien territories or you'll literally shit a planet to death.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That made me chuckle.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably in one of those doors opposite the countertop/stove.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Where they fuck tho

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh my god, THANK YOU.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Obligatory - "in the back"

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Betwixt your ass cheeks, typically.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exact words I was thinking. Exact. I gotta think more creatively

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

People who are wealthy enough to afford one of these don't poop like the rest of us

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like Kim Jong-un?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I actually went looking for this comment because I'm always 12 hours behind. +1

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unicat.com they have different types, all pretty nice for being a tiny bathroom

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And the bed. I didn't see a bed.

11 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Couch has a dookickey thingamabob.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the first picture he's on a raised platform, I'm guessing that is where the bed is located.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No mini fridge either

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It starts at the perimeter around the outside of the truck, and extends outward.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The other drawer.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was never a garbage truck. http://www.unicat.net/

11 years ago | Likes 337 Dislikes 2

.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The closest thing you can get to a Wild Thornberries offroad-camping vehicle.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

It looks more like a Dakar Rally support truck that has been converted into a home.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gee i bet you're real fun at parties

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you for this. Learned something new. I thought it looked too damned perfect for a renovation, now I know why! (Looks incredible tho)

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

These things are pretty expensive but also crazy awesome.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nós manufaturamos seu veículo da expedição ou RV individual com movimentação all-wheel.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Si

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is it a garbage truck now?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Still super cool!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

these are crazy, thx

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Imgur hug of death... ACTIVATE!

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I've been practicing for this moment!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

these are super fucking cool

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was going to say, looks closer to those rally raid trucks than a garbage truck.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

OMG so many different models o-o

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Seriously, this doesn't look anything like a garbage truck.

11 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 2

They look like that in the States. OP probably doesn't know how naturally awkward Europe's auto industry looks.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I never seen a garbage truck like this in the States.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's not that they're awkward, it's hard living inside a compactor... ;) Finland:

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I am unable to find prices on any of these, but I assume they are out of my price range? (My price range being about $5)

11 years ago | Likes 107 Dislikes 0

Rule of thumb: If no price is listed, then it's too expensive.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You can have one for the low low price of only $600,000! Come get yours today!

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

If you have to ask then you can't afford it.

11 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

everything is free if you have a gun

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

After digging through the website a bit, I found a listing for a used 2006 model. It's $500,000.

11 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

Dannnnng...might as well get a house.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So...more than most houses, prior to customization. Lol.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You can even get two houses in some areas for that much.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In some areas, you could, given supply, have like 50,000 houses.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Digging through? Were you ...eghem...dumpster diving?

11 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 1

I'll give you credit for that one.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Mine is tree fiddy.
