MiniYams

So, a yam is a tiny potato, meaning a miniyam, is a tiny tiny potato... and I control them all.

I like john Krasinski as an actor, generally as a person though i don't follow to closely, as a director, I will, never, forgive him for selling out on 'some good news'. I understand he couldn't keep doing it, but take that audience, find someone you trust with it, and keep it going that show was so, important to getting through that early stretch of covid.

Yea, I think that's closer to the truth, I've certainly seen most of these messages from him, and within a few weeks is definitely the case, but as positive as i can be of somethings non-existence that this isn't real. Which... given the ammunition this white house gives... why bother to lie?

He said the trump administration already

I get what you're saying, but the moment he does this I think the allegations go out the window. Sure he probably could've, but this is the smart fighters approach to this fight right? Why bother going for the early win, which inevitably brings some chaos with the aggression, instead you just do what mayweather should've let him wear himself out because he's not a real fighter, and ring that bell. You don't get more points for an early knockout, and if you think it's a worse win, thats on you.

Unless I'm missing some massinve caveat that you're implying and not stating, that's just not true? Like I don't even think it's close to being true? It probably should be, and maybe we'll get there, but I'm really curious at where you pulled that info from? A quick google has the current disparity at 70-80% of teachers are female, and 80-90% of nurses are female.

From my keyboard I'm staring at a drawer that comes off its track often, and it stays that way because the effort to fix it outweighs just dealing with it. If this thing jumps it's track, and those other two drawers below it are the same thing so you can't access under it, yea, it's staying stuck.

Until its the face that jams while it's inside, and you're stuck with the loop on the outside. Better hope you can reach it from the drawers below.

Not attacking, but I'm curious on an expanded version of this take. Is the suggestion we don't need a national guard? That good people shouldn't join it? Cause these are the same guys that are deployed for wildfires and hurricanes.

I'm still confused what you're correcting... you even use she so I don't understand what the issue with the original comment was?

"Truth Tellers" is a hillarious ego-trip. There's a significant portion of the left that does not approve of the left politicians right now, but we vote anyway, because in this place called life there are choices of lesser of evils, and I think it was pretty damn clear which one was the lesser of evils. So here's my question, what was your plan, it's early November last year, what would you like the left to do. Because I'm going to assume it's not stay at home and throw a temper tantrum.

First off, there's 3 o's in his username. Because I was curious enough to look it up. And I saw that he deleted his social media last october, with 1.8mil followers. But you what nothing you said proves or even suggests? That the original video wasn't a joke. All I want is you specifically, to acknowledge that you're intentionally seeing the worst out of this. This could be a funny bit, the absurd version of the fruit thing, but instead go "haha clearly dumb" when literally nothing suggests it.

Sure, what happened, enlighten me, source it.

But I wouldn't tell people im unwilling to see any good at all in anything, and go out of my way to assume the worst, I wouldn't tell people that I judge on first glance, or off a 5 second clip, God I would never say any of that. That'd be crazy to admit in public.

There's no way this video wasn't a joke to begin with right? Unless there's more context than I know, i dont know how you'd take the original as anything other than a joke? The fact that there's so many people here acting like he's being serious feels... Questionable? Judgy? Worse than those?

At some point learning Morse code and having the computer translate is just easier, but then again, some some days? Just give me the p's. New version of "this meeting could've been an email." Is "This email could've been all p's."

I have 0 awareness of the quotes and really don't have much of an opinion on Coldplay, but like I don't mind over-confidence in your own material. I expect every musician to believe their the best the same way if I follow any sports player I want them all to believe they're the best. It's when it turns into the upstaging Taylor swift and that kinda stuff that it turns into a problem for me. You can be your own biggest fan, but don't make it everyone else's problem.

There's a certain hitchhiking robot that had to learn the hard way.

The other comment doesn't look like they're finished, so i'm going to put this here instead of both, the fact that there's a 30% difference between your number and their number, added to my absolute distrust of polling numbers in this age, means I really just don't have a ton of respect for whatever approval rate is thrown out there. The last part is like, even if 80% of people approve, i really don't want missles thrown at the other 20%, nor do i want to celebrate missles at all

These are dangerous downvotes, politicians and "leaders" wage wars, not civilians. Putin is an enemy, not all russians, Jinping is an enemy, not all Chinese, and yes Netanyahu is (should be, I guess with recent political news) but not all Israeli's. Those of us in the US better damn well be ready to not be hypocrites, unless you're willing to say that you reflect the actions of Trump.

Sure but that's general, faceless, nameless homeless people, this is an individual. The named homeless people end up in buzzfeed articles where people feed orphans to the machine to pull one up for a moment... then immediately leave without any support system the second the feel good moment passes.

No money to gain, more publicity to lose, not to mention you're doubling down on your tiktok ban. If there was anything to gain, no doubt she'd try though.

(pressed enter instead of apostrophe) when in the 1850's did some tuned up sherrif in Oregon go like "battery, never heard of the word, pretty sure you're talkin about assault" and it still stuck 175 years later. I've spent my curiousity on looking around on it, but yea, just a weird distinction.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea definitely, but the definition of assault and battery seemed like they'd be pretty fundamental. like of course the specific definitions are all going to be different, and the degree's and how they're punished, but when in the 1850

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

huh, between that and a few other sources mention what is commonly "battery" being assault in Oregon, but no mention of assault, as in intent w/o physical injury. I just found attempted assault, which could include alot of what assault usually is, but that still feels like it misses a lot of what assault usually covers. my curiousity for the moment is spent on a crime i have no plans to commit in a state i have no plans to be, but weird.

the context of the post makes me think they're specifically talking about the US, assuming you're also talking about the US, i'd be surprised if that was true and would be intrigued to learn how/why it happened in those places, I'd think that'd make assault a super broad/vague charge, and potentially make battery totally irrelevant? or give the court a lot of leeway to just like, decide if someone was charged with assault and battery, or just assault?
