Reminder that THE reason Trump hates wind *turbines* and won't shut up about them is because Scotland *dared* build a few off the coast of the golf course he bought there, and had the audacity to tell him 'no' when he demanded they be removed for 'spoiling his view.' That was *fourteen years ago* and he still obsesses about attacking wind energy. Move over, Don Quixote, there's a new madman tilting at windmills.

I worry, honestly, about what it means that we're living in the world where the "Jewish space lasers are starting California wildfires" wacko is apparently the least morally bankrupt person in that party. I worry about that, because she's *not* a person of strong moral fiber, and I fully expect the next cause she champions to be as batshit insane as 99% of the rest have been, and because if *she's* the most moral, then that says terrifying things about the rest of Republican lawmakers.
Except for the ICE center gassing protestors (and a school. and residential area), and the occasional pack of white supremacists the cops ignore when they come here to let their recruits cut their teeth. the cops *don't* ignore the locals in those interactions, naturally.
huh. coulda sworn the promise the military used to fuel its meat machine with the nation's poor was one of shelter, steady wage, healthcare, a secure job, free education... and abandonment to the mercurial whims of the VA once you finished serving. if they don't even have *that* anymore...
