Farmer/Cyclist/Robot Tech/Photographer from Australia
In a just world the average person could have that without being "rich".
#49 the lockdown times could have been reading, gardening, fitness, but I'm an "essential worker" (ie underpaid) so the only difference was less traffic on the way to work 6 days a week.
Hopefully a new and better system emerges after the end of the civil war.
I've grown up riding these roads on 23s, so 25 front and 28 rear is my definition of fat and comfy ๐ Old school 27x1-1/4 (32-630) would be great if there were modern bikes available to suit, the novelty of steel wears off quickly with all the hills around here.
I did get some well earned Vitamin H from Nambour on the way home!
I think she's Queen Nephie
South east Queensland to be specific
I realise 2008 is getting to be quite a long time ago now but holy crap has he physically deteriorated since that photo was taken. And he was hardly a prime specimen then.
Not "exacerbating" the housing crisis, creating it. Think of how wildly different the USA and Australia are, then ask why both countries have a housing crisis.
Holy sh*t, do NOT unmute.
In the 17ish years I've been on facebook I've bought things due to ads on there 3 times. And 2 of those purchases were from other sites, because the ones that posted the ads were resellers price gouging.
#4 isn't an outtake, that's the main event
Unfortunately I've found they don't last on the super coarse bitumen in my area. Even Maxxis Refuse and Vittoria Zaffiro Pro (which is what I'm on currently) are lucky to get 1500km on the rear wheel.
And fun too
Do you find that smell with all cats? Certainly those that have been neglected or kept in terrible conditions can smell because cat pee is seriously pungent stuff, but I've never found an objectionable smell with a well cared cat.
That concept is more disturbing than any horror movie. Here in Australia there was zero cost for my kids to be born in a well equipped hospital with wonderful caring staff, and to have home visits for a year afterwards to make sure everything was going right. Everyone in the world deserves that.
People hating cats is one of the biggest red flags there is.
#21 man 1992 was a depressingly long time ago
Overnight/weekender. That little block of mine is about 400km from home, so not having to cart my accommodation and basic stuff back and forth each time is very helpful.
Same with Medicare cards in Australia
At least it wasn't the BRRRTT slam cut
For me it was the French winner of the Women's biathlon not lapping the last placed Ukrainian. By staying behind her the Ukrainian athlete wasn't knocked out and was able to complete another lap and cross the line as a finisher. Great example of the Olympic spirit from both.
As a 6th generation Queenslander I do have to correct you, public transport here is absolutely worse than Melbourne for example. Even more so as soon as you leave inner Brisbane.
F around and F out young edgewannabe
#18 it's not like I expect anything good to come out of Florida but this is particularly vile
Barely a day goes by I don't think about the transformative amount of good I could do with even 1 billion, let alone tens of billions. That so many billionaires do nothing but harm with their hoarded gold makes it all the worse.
He didn't report any issues with his neck, but by Day 3 he had "weeping open sores" in a delicate area. He tried applying corn flour but that didn't help and he was forced to ride hundreds of kms standing up.
4 or 5, which is pretty good for 1300+km on some very rough roads
Destinations that aren't directly on the road, but can be accessed from it
A combination of incredibly hostile weather and terrain, and there being no reason to try. The only settlement at all down there is Melaleuca, population 2.
