Jesus. You know, I never thought I'd say it, but I miss the good old, relatively normal days of 2020.
Okay... yes... You're absolutely right. Iran's regime is brutal, totalitarian, and an enemy of democratic ideals. But, uh, 1) they were attacked by a bully for no good reason, 2) they seem to actually have a *plan* and... as brutal as their government is, it seems to be *rational*. I'm not saying they're the good guys. I'm saying the U.S. is absolutely the bad guys.
Eleven: "That's my line!"Gonzo: "It was mine, first!"
FWIW, David Tennant, in character AS the Doctor, did show up at the Muppets at O2, for a Pigs In Space appearance.
Wait... we're at war in ECUADOR NOW?
Sleeperkid is a sex worker? What? I just know them from their witty/poignant/wise tweets.
YES.
MX $1.50 in pesos would be good right now.

Toyota Hilux. They last forever.
I'm not an Irish citizen. I'm an American citizen. I'm on a Stamp 2 visa. You ever get so desperate to leave a country you sign up for an M.A.?
I think this might be a bit much. It's like when Farage got hit with a milkshake, and people were like... "What if it was a brick!?" Well, it wasn't a brick! It was a milkshake. Similarly, if the collars were on human beings, this would be *horrible*. But it's on *cows.*
I'm still waiting for Absolute Constantine.
Wait......he's... waging war on the country... that he's... Oh my god this makes...
Was waiting for this one. Yeah. (I'm American-Irish and moved to Ireland. Don't intend to leave now that I'm here.)
How could you say that it's trending towards progress? If there's one thing I've learned studying history, it's that the moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends towards injustice.
I'm a trans woman. I made the decision to leave the U.S. before Trump was re-inaugurated. I fled to Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. I left a $140,000/yr job to live as a no-income, no permanent housing, de-facto refugee. I ended up in Ireland where I had to enroll for grad school just to get a valid visa. It's a precarious life. I don't regret it one bit.
We don't hate the modern English because their grandparents killed our grandparents. We hate the modern English because they don't *care* that their grandparents killed our grandparents.
Moira... the fair folk... Yes, Colm? They sure to seem to love facts about penguins...
I was WONDERING why the oranges in Mexico were typically green.
Dammit, *so close*. I voted for Giant Meteor in 2016.
They never regret hurting other people. They regret it now that it's hurting them.
It's a LITTLE LATE NOW.
Nope - Trump ripped up the Iran deal during his *first* term. Biden couldn't exactly repair it after Trump ripped it up.
He doesn't want anything from Cuba. He wants to see people suffer and die. Which is what he is getting.
I'm not quite stable yet --- I'm getting rice from food banks here to make ends meet, but I'm stable enough. And I met a wonderful lady here who has agreed to be my girlfriend. We've been dating since Halloween.
I didn't have sex at birth. I didn't even have it in my 20s!
I was living in San Diego, myself, but decided that I could A) be a nervous wreck, wondering if "today's the day" or B) just leave before he was inaugurated. Fled to Mexico. Ended up getting a student visa to Ireland to study Screenwriting at the MA level.
Yes, it is aggravating -- but it's better to check it out before I share it.
