So volunteers pilots share their time, planes and expertise to show the kids a really fun time! You can google EAA Young Eagles :)
There's a EAA program called Young Eagles, they give kids from 8-17 their first free ride to inspire them in the aviation world.
As an airline pilot I can confirm.
