Asalamu alaikum my brothers and sisters in humanity. I am trying to talk a little bit about Islam here to introduce you to things that some may not know about this beautiful way of life. If you have any questions about Islam or would like to have a philosophical discussion about the origin of being, please feel free to contact me via chat.
Just look at what all sides are claiming. What do Muslims say, what do non-Muslims say, and how do they justify it theologically? I’m not arguing here about which religion is better, but rather what the fundamental religious positions of the various parties are.
Hi Muslim here, This war and all the actions leading up to it are not being carried out by Muslims out of religious zeal. One could argue that self-defense (in their eyes) is viewed as a religious duty, but no Muslim claims that the extermination of a particular ethnic or religious group offers any religious benefit. The other side, however....
Everyone can believe what they want. If you don't believe in an afterlife, that's totally fine with me. But I'll be honest with you, the fact that your comment is being upvoted and mine is being downvoted is just sad in my eyes.
According to the teaching of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him), being kind to animals can bring you to Paradies. So who know maybe this kindness opened the Gate of heaven for these childern
Its in the West Bank, they have nothing to do with Hamas or october 7th....
To be honest, I wasn't sure whether to post this, as the images are very graphic. On the other hand, this is everyday life for people in the West Bank, and I want people to see how bad it really is. Please forgive me if this post has upset you.
Tasteless joke
All of them war criminals who should be in jail
Don't be angry with me, but I think it's naive to believe that religion is the cause of the current situation. Both parties are acting based on purely secular reasons. At best, religion is being used as a diversionary tactic. If both sides were made up entirely of atheists tomorrow, absolutely nothing would change.
Life is a test, as is suffering. The real question is how we respond to this test. When evil rears its head, how do we react? Nothing that happens here could not be prevented by us humans. God has already given us all the tools we need to prevent suffering, but we simply do not want to use them.
Tasteless joke
What's with this straw man argument? Where did I even say a word about that? Totally ridiculous. If you want to downplay and relativize mass murder (especially since the number of victims is probably far higher), that's your business. I couldn't accept it, but you have to reconcile that with yourself and your conscience.
How about I do both? I condemn Hamas in the strongest possible terms. They have committed war crimes. That does not justify the mass murder of children/civilians and starvation as a weapon. The list of human rights violations is almost laughable. I don't need to put the atrocities into perspective, but I did it anyway. And now here's your downvote.
To repay murder with murder is not moral; it is simply evil.
Pathetic simply pathetic
Very funny. People, children are dying right there. They are starving or dying of disease. They are being torn to pieces by drones and you making jokes. I understand humor, but this is so distasteful that I really doubt your empathy for human beings.
In fact, one of the biggest problems with the cleanup and reconstruction work is the asbestos that was used in the old buildings. It will be practically impossible to dispose of these quantities properly.
Yeah right...
Do you think it's appropriate to make fun of someone who wants to raise awareness about genocide? Someone whose family members are still missing to this day. I find that in very poor taste.
Both are war criminals
Did you watch the video to the end?
Yes, its crazy
Really, 6 billion other people... Your reading comprehension is truly miserable.
My argument was not that Islam has many believers, therefore it is true. I argued that this video is probably real because it is not difficult to produce such a compilation (of a very well-known sermon) with so many people. But you probably still don't understand... And someone like you wants to accuse Muslims of stupidity.
Anyway, move on, this conversation has no value, for either of us.
You realize that Islam is the religion of almost, if not, 2 billion people. Do you really think it's that difficult to compile a montage of one of THE most famous sermons in the world? Frankly, I don't think you know enough about religion to make any claims about “taqiyya” just because some Islamophobe told you something about it.
A cartoonishly evil way to portray Islam. I guarantee you that no matter what ideology you follow, it oppresses at least as many people, if not more.
You think so? Maybe some look a bit unusual. But why would someone make an AI Video about such a minor topic. What they are saying is a very well know part of every sermon
Out of genuine interest, why did you comment on a post that was clearly not directed at you? Of course, you can express your opinion; no one is stopping you. Is it simply because you are fundamentally anti-religion, regardless of the message?
Of course my brother
Disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourself
Since he is a journalist, I doubt that it is anything other than cold-blooded calculation.
