You severely overestimate the maturity of the human race
The red on the map is its range. You can see a red dot to the left of its name to indicate the Bowhead Whale is distinguished using the color red on the map.
Wouldn’t it have been easier to just loosen the lug nuts and leave the tire?
What about a torch that only emits infrared? If you shine it on a surface for a while and cast a shadow in the beam: you can feel the temperature change but won’t be able to see the shadow. So, is it still a shadow if you can’t see it?
Oh yeah. Desert Recluse, Black Widow, Wolf Spiders, Tarantula, Giant Crab Spiders, Camel Spiders (technically not spiders but still creepy). The funny thing is, most of them like to hunt at night. So, that giant skylight that opens above the bed: it’s a giant invitation for all the spiders to drop on your head while you sleep.

I took it and learned how to use a sewing machine. Made a duffel bag out of canvas that I still use 20 years later.

Now let’s look at a Democrat “good objective”: reduce gas burning vehicles on the road. How do you accomplish it? Make emission standards for renewing vehicles more strict? Ok, now you have thousands of vehicles it’s now illegal to drive. They’ve essentially become tons of industrial waste scattered across the state that needs to be disposed of properly. If it isn’t done with care the immediate environmental impact could potentially be worse than if you did nothing at all. It’s hard to be good
The ultimate problem is it’s inherently easy to accomplish an evil goal over a good goal because an evil goal ignores consequences. Trump has the goal of making money off of oil. What does he do? Kidnap the President of Venezuela and steal it. Start a war in Iran. Go to social media and threaten to bomb infrastructure. Bet on oil futures using inside information. Withdraw your threat. Cash out on your insider trading scheme.
