in order to hate something, you have to care about it in the first place. If you dont care about it at all, even negatively from another source (like an IP rivalry for example), youd likely just move on since youre not invested in it. reminds me of another near decent into madness. This woman was adament shed name her daughter Etin (pronounced close to eatin') and absolutely refused to hear any backtalk about it. She'd screamed at family who didnt support the name, threatened to uninvite people to the baby shower, got into multiple fights with family and friends alike. Had no idea why it was a big deal. Finally, someone just comes out and says plainly, "honey, your last name is Cox!"
shit like this is so frustrating. Cuz like there are points to be made of some things being actively sabotaged/made worse for stupid reasons (like veilguard, or dustborn), which should be called out and shamed. But then theres also people like this who treat ciri in the new witcher trailer as being an affront to god just cuz her model changed and geralt is out (despite witcher3 basically being about ciri being the next gen). Cant look at any of it without getting lumped in with the hyper idiots

my fav is when people throw "research" at you, and you click the link only to immediately get paywalled. i like jaded luke too, its a surprisingly refreshing take on the character. Now, the reasons WHY hes jaded are where tlj loses the fuck outta me.
i stg the algorithm is braindead sometimes. I have to regularly retrain it to stop suggesting random shit ive never want, and even when it works its only halfway. Why am i not allowed to mark channels i dont wanna see while im on the video? Why am i only able to do that from the home screen?? So i have to wait for things i dont want to see in the first place to show up by itself before i can mark it unwanted, meanwhile it keeps jumping into the queue? Stupid as hell

wireless is for across the room or by necessity. If im at my desk i want all the wires that i can fit, but if im running shit off my tv i wanna be able to be anywhere in the room without worrying about wires.

if you ever wonder if you should learn how to swim... the answer is almost always yes. Its a borderline essential skill in some situations, like knowing how to tie a good knot or build a fire. Or basic first aid like cpr. Very low skill floor, wide application skills are always worth learning

once had a laptop that saved everything to onedrive by default without me knowing. Everything. I had games installed to onedrive somehow on this thing, which made playing them on this laptop a gd nightmare. After the third time it told me "nuh uh" on a game i finally went into the files to discover that while it had data downloaded to it, the laptop READ from onedrive by default too, which was why gaming on it was a nightmare. Finally ripped onedrive out like a tumor. Laptop was great afterwards
personally, i tip only when i do not have eyes on 100% of the food making process. Ordering pizza, getting food in a restaurant, stuff like that. Its the "please dont spit in my food" tax, and while i dont like it its a necessary evil nowadays. In all other scenarios, i never tip. Its ridiculous. And i legit feel bad for the people who rely on it, but im not giving them 2 extra bucks to put food in a microwave, or dump coffee into a cup. I shouldnt have to even if i believed in tipping
had a stress dream once that i got a call from my highschool that they added a new course people had to take but forgot to tell me. I had to go back and complete all of that workload in a 24hr period or i wouldnt be eligible to take my college final exams, which i was in the middle of at the time. Somehow managed to procrastinate in my dream by wandering my old highschool and arguing with teachers i hadnt seen in years. Woke up very confused lmao

remember how everyone says there should be a guy on set who points to the book every time the director wants to change shit for no reason? awell this show had that guy, and everyone on staff hated him for it, and the series is more or less deaad in the water due to the sheer weight of the alterations. Hope he does well in 40k, but its startin to souund like the exact same thing is going down over there too
i only tip when i dont have eyes on all or at least most of the food-making process. If i go to a restaurant or order pizza for example. If i can physically see people for all or most of the process i dont tip, cuz i can visually confirm they wont fuck with my food. Thats the only reason i tip: to stop food sabotage. In literally all other context tipping can go fuck itself. I stare tellers in the eye and hit no tip. It sucks tips are so ingrained rn, but its not my problem. I got issues too

i feel like people are dunking on the size and windows a lot, as they should cuz jfc, but i have yet to see anyone mention that the sink and the toilet are literally on the opposite ends of the apartment from each other, which is equally as horrific if not moreso
its stuff like this that makes having a high spice tolerance extremely useful. Ive had my lunches stolen before, but i can tank spice pretty well. After a couple weeks of buying habanero powder or including a super hot pepper in any soups or chilies most thieves will start giving your stuff a wide berth. And its hard to get in trouble for spices cuz you can get away with "I like eating it that way"
and then the power trips, resetting it to 12 anyway
