I'm sorry your kitty died. It's always so hard to lose such a good companion and I am sure you both loved each other very much. My last 3 cats died at 12, 13, and 14 years old. All way too soon. One of my childhood cats was a stray and an indoor/outdoor cat and was so chill. We could never figure out his exact age but he lived to at least 22. Big hugs to you my internet friend.
That would probably work much better as a bludgeoning tool than a heat sink.
There were many portable game systems prior to '89 (Gameboy debut) but it was incredibly rare for any to have interchangeable software. Most were 1 primary simplistic game to a single handheld. Once the market exploded with the original Gameboy, then came Atari Lynx, the portable NeoGeo, etc. I loved the Lynx but the battery life was horrid. Didn't the PSP have the ability to play movies/music or something?
I don't let my kittens in my bedroom when I am ready for sleep for the night. They are too active and will keep me awake. They have accepted it well. However, once they hear my alarm they meow and paw at the door for their breakfast. Now I only need my alarm to go off once because they become the alarm.
That is a beautiful bowl, but I don't think it would hold my cereal very well.
Not sure why I am bothering to explain that there is no such thing as a dream job to me. You never wanted to see a different point of view besides your own. Your 1st response falsely assumes that my life, or at least attention span, revolves around video games and social media. Your mind was already made up about the kind of person I am. I have seen some hilarious and horrible local commercials, often falling in both categories. One that comes to mind is Jones BBQ and foot massage. I saw lots of local commercials growing up with local stations pre and post cable. Eagle(man) insurance had some guy in a bad eagle costume dropping an egg on the car roof "I've got something for you". "Look at those low rates!". Both of the mentioned ads are on youtube. So many good/bad ones out there.
I'm not gay but there are some handsome dudes out there and I sometimes think: "Ya know, if I was gay I could see me and him hook...". And then I shake my head and tell myself that I am straight, always have been and pretty sure I always will be. "But if I was gay....". The human mind is so strange sometimes.
Also, I am only here because I like to argue and feed trolls like you who immediately assume am some lazy teen or 20 something glued to their phone. I actually miss the days before such reliance on tech. Conversing on Imgur (if you could even call it social media) has no relevance to the conversation about doing things fulfilling anyway. My ADHD brain doesn't work well with schedules or consistency. Never has. My point is to stop thinking everyone is equal. We aren't.
Some people are different and to them, an enjoyable & marketable hobby/skill still isn't a dream job. It's arguably worse. You need to maintain schedules & quota output. Then QC/accuracy, goal settings, boss/client pleasing, politics, etc. I had 2 'dream jobs', self employed and a corp job. The enjoyment and 'dream' part of it always diminishes. So again, you are having trouble seeing my side of this. Also, nice of you to immediately assume I was some lazy kid playing video games.
I think you missed my point. I rarely play video games anymore and haven't cared about social media since it was first created. I love doing many things that are fulfilling, none of them are 'work' to me. I have no issues puttting effort into personal projects, helping neighbors, volunteering, etc. But slaving away for a paycheck? No. So again, there is no such thing as a dream job to me. My brain is not wired that way.

Those wolves must have been full at the time. I have a friend who's wife had a chihuahua. They live near an open field with some large patches of trees so lots of diverse wildlife. Their fence and the fact that their dog was a chihuahua wasn't enough of a deterrent.

I have pretty severe ADHD. This is my every day
I inherited weak lungs, nearly asthmatic so I could never be a smoker. My ex decided to introduce me to edibles on July 4th with a homemade treat she was given at Boneroo. It was NOT meant for a first timer. I felt like I was spinning fast and felt smashed into the ground while also shooting through the air. I clutched the grass like my life depended on it. Then the fireworks started. I thought they were going to kill me. I think that edible may have had something besides THC in it.
Almost thought it was going to be a 00's Skittles commercial
I am screwed as an actual Leftist. Our 1 and done vote creates an illusion of choice. Ranked/tiered voting is superior but maybe that's why it never took off. I won't go into the details but it sucks how our voting procedure strongly reinforces the 2 party system. What we are left with is the centrist party and the fascist party. R for repugnant or D for disappointment.
Of course it's because of a Republican. Back when I was first able to vote in the 90's, I didn't like the way R's did most things but they occasionally made a good point or two. I was new to politics so I didn't really understand much, but R's felt much less awful, slimy, and untrustworthy than they do now. As an adult, I have a difficult time even being around anyone who claims to be a Republican, regardless of their feelings on Trump.
Happened at a job I was at for nearly 18 years. I was being groomed by my manager to be his replacement. Everyone in the department and all connecting departments knew it was going to happen. Then the upper upper mgmt that loved our group left and were replaced by people who didn't understand half of the departments under them. My boss was pushed aside and replaced by a near sociopath bean counter that cut corners everywhere. He was the worst boss any of us ever had. It was awful.
