I find that yeast is best activated with warm or tepid water. Your baking skills suck?? Want to know how to improve them?? BAKE BREEEEEAAAADDDD!!! Seriously, the only way to improve is to bake stuff and make mistakes. Unless it's burnt, the results are usually edible.
