Source is my fiancé is a vet and just had to euthanize one last night.
Just don't keep then as pets please! If any incident happens at all, they have to be euthanized and tested for rabies.
And that each reactor can take up to 20 years from approval to operation. Not putting it down, but people don't like this number.
