Hell yeah Ocean City - I might not have a ton of great things to say about the Shore, but that boardwalk is definitely one of them, especially after experiencing the one in Virginia Beach.
I feel this, I chose Needful Things for a book report project in 8th grade, and my teacher pulled me aside and said, "Look, I know you can read this, and I know your mom knows you can read this, but I need her to sign this permission slip in case anyone else asks."

Just wanna make it clear the downvote isn't because you disagree, it's that you apparently can't express your opinion without being needlessly dickish. You reduce her success to being b/c of her looks, which is almost always a shitty thing to do, and then complain that if you tried to tell stories about your similar experiences, people wouldn't find it funny. Seems like the issue might be *your* delivery, and that's a you problem, not a TT problem. Hope you have the day you deserve.
Agreed, I found several local outlets covering the individual protests, the bigger ones covered the *idea* of the protests before they happened, but I struggled to find many after the fact that explained how many states actually had turnout, which I feel would have had a more positive impact on how the movement was viewed. Since, y'know, the whole point was to show that there are people *everywhere* who want to stand up.
This scene is pure comedy gold, and my siblings and I quote it all the time
The joke works totally fine without changing the spelling, too - "cobra" isn't spelled with a "k" but they didn't change that spelling in the set-up
Is it because the etymology of the verb "bugs" probably relates to entomology at some point?

Sorry, big pet peeve: they were not dead the whole time. I get why people were disappointed with the ending, but I feel like "they were dead the while time" is a huge oversimplification and either indicates someone didn't actually watch the show, were never invested in it enough to pay attention, or straight up didn't understand the ending.
