As a white guy that used to live like a complete piece of shit, I have gotten away with some close calls that could have landed me in prison, at least 2 off the top of my head that could have ended with 10+ years, the system is not fair I am pretty good at understanding police psychology, but I have no doubt if I wasn't white, even when dealing with black cops, I would not have been able to nonchalantly convince them not to take a closer look. The system is rigged on that alone.
Manchin was an awful democrat. He voted with Republicans almost 50% of the time, but the average Republicans votes with the Republicans more than 90% of the time. Even Massie, who has been the most combative with Trump, votes like 95% in line with the Republicans. Any Democrat, even a piece of shit corpo-crat, is a better choice than a Republican, the time to vote against them is for a progressive is in the Democratic primaries, after that you are just empowering Republicans.
