Shits staged. My god, the need to be seen as a perfect parent is just as toxic. Raising kids is extremely difficult, and there just is not a rulebook for it. Different cultures raise kids differently. Honestly, seeing how other cultures dont have as much reporting of loneliness and kids are well adjusted, it could be said they parent better. That wouldn't be fair, though. Each kid has different needs, some are more needy than others, emotional, etc. Listen and adjust for your child.

Focus on health benefits and let the scale track whatever. At end of the day, strong is strong. If you're hitting the heart, lungs and legs well, you will be fine.
