Fight crime with more crime.

Such wonderful penmanship

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

Deep hatred for child molesters might be the only thing that me and inmates have in common.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I'm surprised they didn't kill him

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

He is really lucky imho. I wont say what I would do but he would live for years while I did it to him.. If it was my daughter.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Idk, but if that were my daughter idt I would want her name remembered that way

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 6

i hope his asshole gets shredded every last living day of his life.. and a few days after that too...

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

At least her name wasn't Shalaquashaneefa....would of went around his whole head.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

I feel he got off light.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 9

I wish I could say I felt they went to far.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Plot Twist: He was taken to trial by the same prosecutors and Steven Avery.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Brendan, you raped and murdered Katie, right? .........yeeeaaaahh

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

His eyes look so dead. *shudder*

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah, shame they're not actually.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

As a Correctional Officer, working in a maximum security prison, I find it hilarious how some here blame the prison for allowing it

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Well if I ever have to sit on a jury regarding something a CO "let" happen to one of these scumbags I'm never rendering a guilty vote.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

To happen. My shift has 70 officers to 1700 offenders. We can't see everything. As they say, walk a mile in my shoes before youbjudge

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What if this happened to someone who was wrongfully convicted? (Sorry just finished watching Making a Murderer) This would be awful.

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 8

There's a ~3% wrongful conviction rate in the US (different from innocent). Sexual crime recidivism rate is ~5%. Well worth it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Jeeze, how is Lena Dunham gonna cover that one up

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

Ouch. I get this

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Explain?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A. It kinda looks like her. B. She molested her younger sister

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Whaaaaaat?! When where what what what?!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And she wasn't even apologetic about it at all. Kinda seemed like she was bragging about being weird as fuck

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Good. I'd argue it'd be better to just outright kill him, make sure there's absolutely 0 chance of him doing it again, but this works.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 15

Killing him would be a mercy the bastard doesn't deserve

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 11

It's not about what he deserves, it's about ensuring 0 possibility of him pulling a fast one.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

revenge is bullshit. More suffering only makes the world shittier. The fact that the bad guy is losing doesn't make anything better.

10 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 14

This is also a sign the guards in that prison aren't doing their job right.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

And that's the intention. What scares you more about the idea of prison : A. losing a couple of years B. getting raped daily.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

It shouldn't tho. Guards are supposed to guard the safety of the prisoners as well, and prison itself is supposed to end the bad behavior.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I agree. It's a bad system that turns one time offenders into hardened criminals with gang affiliations. Nobody wins.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

He was in prison, he already had what was coming to him.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

Rape and murder a 10 year old girl. Get rewarded with a better life than many actually law abiding decent human beings.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Absolutly not! He deserved aloot more than prison, i have actually seen a couple of stills the video of him doing it to katy (1/2)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It almost made me puke, he deserves anything coming to him and if you were katy's cousin you would not have stopped yourself from doing it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This happened in 2006. It was one of Katie's family members who was in the same facility.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Should've caved the fuckers head in instead.

10 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 29

Good thing you are not a judge. An eye for an eye is a very poor way of constructing your legal system.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

In some cases it is. As a father I would do this to a rapist, most things should be jail time, even murder in most cases, but kids?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

Legally rape someone as punishment? Do you not understand how insane that is? Ever heard of "stooping to their level"?

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Y the downvotes? I agree wz u. Death is 2 easy on him. Hypocrites that wish him bad, but not "that" bad. Fuckn own ur choices imgurfags!

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 17

There is a difference between good and evil, fucking children is evil, robbing a bank and selling crack is a bad job choice.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is it rape? I thought sex with animals was classed as bestiality?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well that's a disturbing thing to say.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

It's still not anything close to what he did to her.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Sadly, she went by Katy...

10 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 6

One Katy, several Katies

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Then it would be "Katies' revenge".

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

What an unfortunate mixup. Maybe they should do it again to correct this mistake.

10 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 1

The extra letters mean extra pain

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

As satisfying as this is viscerally, this is wrong and should not be what we allow in prisons.

10 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 25

You're right, we shouldn't be allowing it. We should be doing it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Tatooing pedophiles and other felons? Very roman, but at least it'd be a judicial decision, not left upto those we've already imprisoned.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm not saying we should be handing out mob convictions. This guy got a conviction by the courts, and openly bragged about what he did.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So, you agree with my position of not torturing or allowing others (even criminals) to torture for us?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't want them tortured. I want them executed.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Protect him after what he did? You're insane. He doesn't deserve shit, he shouldn't benefit from the system which he didn't uphold.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 15

I guess human rights are only inalienable when you decide it is?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's not about him, it's about the systems we build. Do you seriously want to build Prisons where we let criminals decide on punishments?

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

I think it's perfectly acceptable compared to the other things they do to little demons who mess with children

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 30

If you're going to rape and murder a defenseless ten year old, you deserve this.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 14

I'd say you deserve a long drop and a short stop but I'm not gonna design a prison that lets crooks decide how to punish each other.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Exactly. We should be doing it rather than having criminals do it for us.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I support rights for prisoners not because of pity for pedophiles, but for fear of giving bureaucracy that sort of power.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What would you like done? Judicial torture?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why? If you can afford the justice system, lock them up for ever with limited contact (which is the worst torture I'd inflict).

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

60k a year for solitary on the low end is quite the cost to keep a rapist alive and happy.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I can see an argument for selling them into indentured servitude, but that has it's own problems.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you're going to sell them, sell them as slaves, with no regulations regarding how they're treated.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you can't afford the justice system & don't care about getting the odd innocent, then just shoot/hang them once they lose their appeal.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Sounds great to me. You fuck a little kid, we take you out back of the courthouse and remove the problem.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If I trusted our current courts, I'd agree. I don't, which is why I don't like irreversible punishment (see: Innocence project)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That looks like a tattoo not a brand

10 years ago | Likes 132 Dislikes 10

Ugh

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He was forcibly tattooed, not branded. You are correct.

10 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

A tattoo is a brand. A branding isn't a tattoo. I think.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

All tattoos are "brands", not all brands are tattoos. "Brand" can simply mean "visibly mark such as to indicate ownership"

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Metaphorical branding, I'm sure.

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

If you brand the skin and spread pigment into the open wound it acts as a tattoo.... it's how they used to brand slaves and pirates

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

I went to high school with two brothers who used to cut themselves with razorblades and pour pen ink into the wound to make tattoos.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seems like overkill. Cite?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Read in history books. Don't have one.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Hmm. I hope I stumble across that somewhere someday. It'd make an interesting read to figure out why the giant scarring was insufficient.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If I remember correctly it was because scars fade and can leave the brand deformed.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What makes people doing this any better than him? That's just a sellout of our civilization.

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 8

They aren't raping kids

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 11

They are forcibly taking another human's body and doing what they want with it. What's the difference?

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 6

He's no more a human being than the bundle of cells left in the medical waste bin after an abortion.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Congrats on your ability to discriminate based on your biases. Humans are always humans. But seeing others as less human leads to ...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Abuse, rape, murder, genocide, and torture. Who's the monster? The one that can look at a person and see an animal for slaughter.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

but he killed the kid afterwards

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

So like every murderer who also had their freedom taken away as punishment? The guy is being punished, why is everyone so keen for more...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

...punishment that does nothing but reinforce the mental dysfunction that leads people to do what he did?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think this is a good thing.

10 years ago | Likes 96 Dislikes 16

And as we have seen with many a case nowadays... It is possible this man might have been innocent. But yeah let's go around branding ppl

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

A good thing would be a mental health system that aids potential offenders in identifying and controlling themselves.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Its a 'injustice among us' cry out of a heard, when ppl justify crime because someone else commit one or feel perp deserved more.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's not. There's a reason we stopped branding convicts hundreds of years ago.

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 5

You're right

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

Nope, it's not even a good start, you guys are right. Speaking as someone who's dealt with the aftermath for years.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, it's a bit disturbing to see people celebrating this as a triumph of justice or something. I wonder if they agree with prison rape?

10 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 7

Prisoners are seen as animals. It makes all the 'little things' people do seem ok. Why? Because the social sciences aren't taught young.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yeah, actually, I do. People like this that rape and molest children forfeit their rights to be treated well. Honestly I think death is best

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 23

Whilst I truly understand an emotional reaction to the crimes he has committed, human rights is more nuanced than 'an eye for an eye'

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

Yes but as a rapist that took away another humans right I believe that you automatically forfeit your right to be treated as human and lose

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 11

Your basic human rights anything that happens after that is better then you deserve especially rape murder of a 10 year old

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

Capital punishment has been shown to provide no disincentive for those who wish to commit more serious crimes (rape, murder, paedophilia)1?

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Reminder that he is as human as any of you guys, just with much more tragic pre-determination. Those type of guy need help, not threat.

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 20

There is no helping people like that. The statistics are against him and I feel like it would help the community more to put people like him

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Down as to prevent another victim 100%. Rather than try to rehabilitate him and risk a relapse and have a potential for more suffering.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I want to agree with you but I have a kid and anyone who can do that to a kid isn't human to me.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 10

I understand you're scared and it's difficult to reason with such emotions, but ignoring the humanity of someone can only be detrimental

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They don't need anything but to be put down, just like he did to her.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

An eye for an eye is only logical if you want to perpetuate the circle of emotional trauma.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(spoiler: the circle never ends. one way or another, it'll keep on hurting).

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have no sympathy for a molester and killer of Children. He deserves whatever he gets.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I have no sympathy either! but i don't want to let his act blind me and become my only and single view of what he is.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I'm not a fan of revenge a'd such, but please don't compare him to us. He's a cruel man and I don't give a fuck what they do.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 7

It's so reassuring to think we're better than child molester and heroïne addict, I think it's only valid if you're into religion.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, my bad, I'm sorry. I should know that I'm just as much a piece of shit as a murderer...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly :) And so am I. But it's less black and white... Basically, i see all individuals on the bronfenbrenner chronosystem.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, okay, I disagree. He's a piece of shit, £I'm not. You might be one of those people who think everyone is bad, but I disagree.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's nice to see the mob mentality kick in so fast isn't it? These are probably the same idiots who'll vote for their respective Trumps.

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 9

it's soooo easy to wipe those horrible act under the rug of "he's just a monster". No need for any reflection on society and values.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope, I side with the left on almost everything. However, I agree with the death penalty and this kind of mob justice for child rapists. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Any kind of horror he is being put through is nothing compared to what that little girl and her family has been through. 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

I hate drink drivers, so I should be able to torture them because they endanger children on the roads? I like your style. Torture for all!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Drunk drivers are absolutely awful, but I think it's a bit of a stretch directly comparing them to a child rapist/murderer.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He raped and murdered a 10 year old girl. He is not fucking human, let alone as human as the rest of us. He should have been hung.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I understand u're hurt by this idea (i am too), but the beauty of our reason is what i cherish the most. & death penalty is far from reason.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I have no sympathy for that guy or what he did, but prison is supposed to be justice, not revenge. This is just like prison rape

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

I have no sympathy either: we are all responsible of our own act. But I also think our acts are the tip of the iceberg.

Fuck this guy, but also fuck the guys who did that to him, and fuck the prison system that let this happen. Human rights are unconditional.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 14

You're right. But the thing about human rights are we reserve them for humans.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Tell that to Katie.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 14

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

I do believe that is a strong possibility.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

People deserve justice for actions like that. That doesn't mean that they deserve to be treated like animals, lest we lose our humanity too.

10 years ago | Likes 114 Dislikes 49

no animals have rights... this piece of shit has none.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Pretty much every post involving a criminal that has gone to jail is filled with comments cheering "RAPE TORTURE MURDER"

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Firstly, he was justly put in prison for his actions. It is other criminals who enacted the "treatment like an animal". I call it fair.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Breaking the law is ok, as long as it's against convicted criminals?

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

My point was that people who follow the law put him in there. Those who don't follow the law are the ones who dished out a different justice

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

While those who "follow the law" sit back and let it happen... It's a slippery slope when inalienable rights only apply to who you decide.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If he raped and murdered a 10 yr old he has forfeited his right to be people

10 years ago | Likes 137 Dislikes 39

I guess rights are only inalienable when you feel like it

10 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 16

Yup. Land of the free and the brave

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

The only inalienable right is power. Prisoners lose most of their legal rights as a direct result of their crime(s).

"There is no good or evil. There is only power and those too weak to seize it." - Lord Voldemort

I believe in the social contract. If a person knowingly and so heinously breaks that contract, fuck 'em. Society has no obligation to them.

10 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 10

I get what you're saying, and while I do agree that it's a slippery and dangerous slope to go down. I still believe that guy deserved it

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

And if he was wrongly accused? If the police decided he'd forfeited his right to be people so fudged the evidence to get a conviction?

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

If the jury decided he'd forfeited his right to be people so called him guilty despite a lack of evidence?

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'm inclined to agree. That guy does deserve justice, but that's why he's in prison. I believe in justice, not revenge.

10 years ago | Likes 1444 Dislikes 9

They "forgot" to lock the door.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

isn't solitary like psychological torture though?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Solitary and administrative segregation are specifically for protective custody or inmates who break some sort of policy. I worked ad-seg.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No. Half the population in many prisons are child molesters. They can't lock em all up.Worked in a count room and assigned cells for a while.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hopefully not

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

We had a guy that was locked up in a local county jail that raped & murdered an elderly teacher. The Inmates there had her as a teacher. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They fucked him up so bad he was in intensive care for over a week and had to be relocated. 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Good

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's called protective custody. Rapists, pedophiles, and special cases go there so this doesn't happen. My dad's a deputy, so if anyone in 1

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My family is arrested we go to protective custody too. Just in case three inmates want to hurt a cop's family.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Guess not...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Solitary is actually worse than this, especially over a longer period of time

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's a prison, and I can't remember where, I think AZ, but there is one exclusively for sex offenders now.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In NZ they can ask to be or are segregated if they're at risk ie high publicity. They're often very compliant prisoners so in low security.

they can for the reasons mentioned above, but they won't, if only because they want to avoid a lawsuit. Public opinion is one thing, but1/

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

in iran they used to put sexual offenders with politic prisoners together. so the revoluzzers get rape and broken

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No, they're not. General population inmates. If we had a single cell for every child molester we would have a prison on every block.

10 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 4

Abnormal from what I've seen/heard - or do you mean they are GP, but separated with other sex offenders, rapist, and snitches/gang drop outs

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Source: I'm a corrections officer.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Instead of every OTHER block like now.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Friend of mine is a CO. They're called "skinners" around here and they are definitely the lowest people on the totem pole.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Solitary gets full, and the only reasons they don't get beat on a daily basis is they tend to be snitches for the guards.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

High profile sex offenders are put in solitary confinement but most of just putting in GP

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 3

Wasn't Dahmer in GP? He was a serial killer, but wasn't he a sex offender as well?

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Serial rapist. His whole thing was to make a sex zombie. He put acid in some of their brains. Worked for a few minutes.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That really disturbed me

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure the guards turn their backs on child murderers when they can

10 years ago | Likes 145 Dislikes 3

Yep they do. They actually give the other inmates a heads up about them.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Not ALL guards are corrupt criminal scum.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 8

Most guards don't know everyone's charges believe it or not

10 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 2

They will literally drop your charge papers on the rec. table so everyone can read them. Can't speak for every jail.. Just some..

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't you?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

No I wouldn't, that's vigilante justice. It's wrong. 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Do you really want to build a society where we allow criminals to decide what another criminals deserves? Or would you rather we punish 2/3

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Based on what the people and government has voted and decided is fair justice and trust in the system? 3/3

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I don't. Because prisoner activists in this country have convinced people that rapists and murderers deserve better treatment than citizens

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Actually sad. After all they are professionals, whose job it is to protect them from harm.

10 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 34

Don't know why you get downvoted. If you look away in cases like this you are not the right one for the job.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

whats sadder, some kid getting raped and murdered or some coward getting what they deserve in prison?

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

"When they can" obviously they have to protect their job but pedophiles and child killers are the scum of the earth

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

these people don't deserve protection

10 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 16

A professional should know about human rights and why everyone has them. And as a Christ (maybe?) they should stick to Matt 25:40

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 17

Everyone should know about human rights, not just "professionals". When you rape and murder someone, you lose those rights imo.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

i feel that when a person kills another in a field other than war they forfeit their rights. also why are you referencing the bible?

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Yes the bible... "He that smitith a man so that he die shall surely put to death." -exodus 21:12-14

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

Doesn't the bible also have a thing in there about putting rapists to death?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A lot of times they get lower custody. Almost all go to medium or minimum. Less time than selling drugs.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

For murder??

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, touching kids.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Now probably.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I used to be a CO. They don't go to solitary but they are separated into pods with all the other sex offenders and gang drop outs

10 years ago | Likes 203 Dislikes 2

oh, good. so all the sex offenders can get together for lunch and swap success stories. fabulous.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Putting them into pods does make sense. After all, they ARE podophiles.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 9

Depending on how crowded the prison is they give bracelets that say PC but then they put them in with GP.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gang drop out will do this to you too not just the active gp inmates

10 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Depends on the prison. In P.A. they are mixed in gen pop and treated like everyone else.

10 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

Same as Texas. Where I work does have a Sex Offender Rehab program, so most of them are together, but that's a special case.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unless you're Jerry Sandusky. I'm pretty sure they keep him in solitary.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That makes sense. Mine was that California system

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

They go "PC" or Protective Custody. They also have med seg as well.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

PC , protective custody, also known by the inmates as punk city...

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Administrative Segregation?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know the internals of it, i have a friend that was in fed for awhile though and this is what I heard from him. Largely rapists and

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and child molesters in there, but some of them are people on the wrong side of gangs too.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, no, I understand the concept, it goes by multiple names: keep the kiddy diddlers out of harms way to reduce paperwork.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Protective custody has gang dropouts and gays... Both groups aren't cool with molesters

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If the guards hate you enough, they won't take special measures to protect you, or drag their feet long enough to let something happen.

10 years ago | Likes 860 Dislikes 6

You're a dumbdumb, and that's almost never true. Solitary is reserved for STG's (look it up) and the ones who cant behave.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 10

Ya, I've seen this happen in TV shows a couple of times now.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The country of so called Freedom is filled with corruption, who knew.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Like they did for that one guy (pedophile) who got prison raped by about 30 guys. :D

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

Then they cut his head off, before using it as a ball.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's not the report that I read, but I encourage you to stick with that one.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep happened to a guy here. He was dying of a heart attack and took their time to get there.

10 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

Here? They have imgur in prison?!

10 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

Oh no

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I read it as there's an Imgur prison. For rule breakers. Seven years dungeon - no trial.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

But can you grind for XP in said dungeon, by turning giant hamster-wheels and running generators which run the webpage servers?

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Someone do a day in the life of an inmate in each country. If imgur in prison is a thing.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wonder if my ex has managed to piss off the COs yet, or if anyone knows what he's in for.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm almost afraid to ask.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wasn't the victim, but if I'd stayed with him I could've ended up becoming one. He raped his sister when they were both underage.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of course, I didn't know while we were together. His mom told me that the claims were found to be "unsubstantiated" when investigated...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do understand that but doesn't their job description say the are to protect the prisoners as well as prevent their escape?

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Just like how police officers are there to protect and serve. Yet when was the last time a police officer help you change a tire.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of course it does, but vigilante justice often gets the "look the other way" rule.

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Some criminals do not deserve protection.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

LOL

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guards are still people, not machines...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but they operate under the "stuff happens" rule, and usually the inmate who does the assault is the one who has committed a crime.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And especially in places like that, there are a lot of convicts who are in for life anyway.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't imagine being a guard and needing to protect that fuck. I know I wouldn't be a big enough person to stop anything happening to him.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 4

Than you probably shouldn't be a prison guard

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Yes true. That and the fact that if anyone ever tried to fight me I'd curl into a ball on the floor.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

The US also predominantly uses a private prison system... most guards are paid for shit and mostly don't care.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And i'm not sure exactly how much corruption there is in prisons but guards can be bribed and such

10 years ago | Likes 272 Dislikes 5

Im okay with this kind of corruption.

10 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 44

I understand the sentiment, but I'm not okay with any corruption. The same corruption that harms child molesters also harms innocent people.

10 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 1

Id kill myself to kill 100 pedophiles.

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 17

I'm not okay with living in a world where we justify rape, abuse, and assault because we don't like someone.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, the punishment should fit the crime. Nothing is more punishable than being indecent with a child

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 8

Your mentallity is the reason things like this happened https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynching_of_Jesse_Washington

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Dear lord

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see very little wrong with that. The racism I could do without but the crime should be followed by suitable punishment.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 19

Even in Denmark they try to keep them out of the toughest prisons

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I heard the toughest prisons in Denmark have PS2s instead of PS4s and you have to share a bathroom with another person.

10 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 1

Well... the rates for comitting crimes after prison are lower in DK as a result of the 'soft punishment'

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

if you're talking about the brevik letter that was norway... though denmark's prisons are probably rehab based (i.e fairly nice) too.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

PS3's, we're tough, not savages.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

And the tough prisons' duvets are. Only 2 Tog

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

We're tough on criminals like that.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why? Why should someone that does one of the worst types of crime get the most protection? Why don't they just get their own facility then

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Because we can not encourage vigilante behaviour

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You honestly have some sort of feelings towards someone that raped and murdered a 10 year old child?Would you feel the same if it your child

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I feel like judging people is up to the court based on the law. Not to every individual.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, and that's bullshit.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 25

Theres a 14% innocent conviction rate and a common tactic of prosecutors is to scare people into confessing...so yea, lets just assume worst

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

Well, 14% is less than 86%, so it's safer to assume a person is guilty if they're in prison than not.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

Which means they should be heaped with as much abuse as possible of course.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A person who rapes a 10 year old girl then kills her isn't exactly a prime target for kindness in my book, but you do you.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Do you live in manitiwock county

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

1) Also let's take people that are already going to prison and brutalize them further so that in the off chance they are ever released they

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

2) will be ready to be healthy, productive members of society again.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

A rapist and murderer should never see the light of day. Everyone of them should be tortured.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 7

According to what will happen, not what you want to have happen. Thats the world we live in bud. Sucks but its too bad lol 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Should never, and will never, are 2 very different things. You cant treat people with rose colored glasses. You need to act 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2
