110 U.S. service members. 40 units. 30 military bases. All filing complaints that commanders told them the Iran war is "part of God's divine plan" and Trump was "anointed by Jesus to spark Armageddon." This is not medieval history. This is Tuesday. ?

The Founders built a wall between church and state because they'd seen what happens when generals take orders from God instead of the Constitution. It's called a Crusade. Crusades have a body count. The First Amendment was not a fucking suggestion. It was a warning. ⚔️??

Jesus wouldn't be anywhere near trump. I'm not even religious.

Remember: You don't have to follow illegal orders.

I straight up thought that was a picture of him with a gun in his neck.

They want their fairy tale to be true so bad that they're willing to murder billions to make it so

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I've been saying this shit for years and people think I'm nuts and now they're finally saying it publicly.

The US is about to collapse. It's like watching the Empires of the past fall.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Please stop calling it the Iran War, it is the Epstein War

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Silly rabbit. The Constitution does not constrain Republicans, it only protects them. Just as it only constrains human beings and does not protect us.

20 year plus vet here, this doesn't surprise me at all. When trump was there in 2016, this religion shit was already creeping in. Prayers before staff meetings, chaplains singing religious songs at events, open discussion about religion, etc. None of this shit happened when I started in 2002, but by 2016, it was Fox/OAN/Newsmax everywhere and religious crap in your face.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I highly recommend the documentary "Praying for Armageddon" (2023). It explains how every third voter in the US is an evangelical christian, and shows how the US military leadership is infiltrated by them, and how they are actively converting recruits straight out of boot camp. Scary stuff.

Taking orders from "god" is just taking your OWN orders of treason and sick twisted hate and putting a mask on it. There is no god to take orders from

The Friendly Atheist wrote a good piece about this topic and is suggesting restraint. https://www.friendlyatheist.com/p/before-you-share-that-story-about

Holy shit! Are they kidding? They should round up every one of those officers and relieve them of their command immediately. What's even more scary is that ~two-thirds of American veterans, service members, and first responders have supported Trump in the last three elections. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/09/30/military-veterans-remain-a-republican-group-backing-trump-over-harris-by-wide-margin/

Regime change!

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Religion. Just another way to control people. Working with ignorance and fear.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And the Right complains that Iranians are religious nuts. Apparently, the Right is looking into a mirror.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ok so, it surprising that it's only 110 complaints. I don't doubt the complaints are genuine, but it makes me wonder if its that wide spread. Then again, its just kids who by this point in their careers know its best to keep your head down and shut up.

So Trump’s regime is actually trying to start WWIII. Funny how he used to say Biden was. Just more lies, huh MAGA.

Donald Trump is literally the antichrist

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I mean, i am always scpeptical of anything, but if that's true you ppl should really do something to get rid of this obviosly then mentally ill person.

3 weeks ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 2

If you got rid of every mentally ill person in the Trump administration there would be no one left.

So the Trump Administration can fib about ANYTHING? But absolutely no fabrication about Trump and his illegal war can be made? BTW, I wouldn't trust a single news outlet or reporter at this stage. Only because the maga cult will dismiss the sources and will cry 'fake news'.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

......what? Nobody said or suggested anything like that.

No fabrications *should* be made; there's already more than enough ammunition on that front, and like the link says, we don't need to discredit ourselves and score points for the right. Not trusting anyone or anything because conservatives will lie about it is cutting off your nose to spite your face.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Definitely an interesting read... With everything going on, I think it gets overlooked that there are bad faith opportunists across the board. That's one of the reasons I do like coming here, people demand sources. But it's not anything like the maga bs of "do your research!"

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I am not religious, but are Christians supposed to "spark Armageddon"?

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Evangelicals of a certain stripe are. You know, the crazy ones. Crazier...craziest...certain flavor of crazy...

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The end result of revelations is team g making their religion undeniable followed by 1000 years of peace on earth before everyone goes to heaven. A lot of christians think the whole things worth it, especially if it means they get raptured before the bad stuff happens while everyone that's ever badmouthed them has to stick around and find out.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As long as they are gone.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The bible says that no man can know the date or time, essentially it will happen when it happens. Accelerationists haven't read their own book. Also, the one who's supposed to be waging war at the end is the Antichrist. Anyone who says Trump is "anointed by God" to do this is missing the fact that they've thrown in with the biblical personification of evil.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I have literally heard in person "I think he's the antichrist but he's doing a good job"

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If those military leaders had any balls, they would beat the shit out of Pete. It's more likely that they age with all of this bs

3 weeks ago | Likes 129 Dislikes 4

I know all this BS is aging me.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Petey needs a code red.

3 weeks ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

if they had balls they would refuse to take part in the war.

3 weeks ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

This is true. They have no balls.

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Well the ones that do so either leave or get kicked out. Which gives them the ability to fill the spot with another lacky that will age with everything for a paycheck.

3 weeks ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

If people truly stuck to the morals they claimed they had, there wouldn't be enough lackeys to fill the army. The problem is that in reality, the people claiming they have morals, refuse to stand by them- meaning they have no morals, and are already lackeys willing to do anything for a paycheck. So. The military is ALREADY full of lackeys that will do anything for a paycheck.

Great, and then there is a general outside the chain of command who can be a leader in the revolution. Of course, they're all cowards and oathbreakers so that'll never happen.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yeah, exactly. Good! Let them alienate their top level, they want to play “Rome,” let the brass play “Praetorian guard.”

My tax dollars are for what?!

3 weeks ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 3

This is part of the blatant hypocrisy. THEY can't stand social services paid with THEIR tax dollars, but don't see any issues spending tax dollars on extremely polarizing programs when they are in charge, especially if it allows them to grift.

Religion is a fucking scourge and should be resisted at every turn.

3 weeks ago | Likes 406 Dislikes 9

Largely, I agree, but there are some religions that are honestly harmless. When have you ever heard Wiccans trying to shove their religion down the throats of others? Wiccans only talk about Wicca when someone asks

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Belief is personal. Idolatry and heresy and this performative tribal bullshit is not. You will know the difference by their fruits.

100 religions can be wrong. Spirituality is guesswork. Reality is elusive. Logic can help.

Imo all religions are equal and equivalent glimpses into the untrue

I can’t imagine serving in the Marines under tRump. I served under Clinton, Bush and Obama and things were never like this. Hell I remember onetime in 96’ while I was stationed in Okinawa Japan during a room inspection our first sergeant lost his ever loving mind when he found a Nazi flag in a lance corporals wall locker. That marine was thrown in the brig faster than you can say Mein Kampf. I can’t imagine it’s like that now, which really pisses me off.

Christianity in particular is literally a death cult

3 weeks ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Yup

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was raised in church (left at 18) and I have to say I agree. Spirituality yes, organize religion no.

3 weeks ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 2

Im an atheist. But im a full believer in people doing things spiritually if they so choose. As soon as they start organizing, they start pushing it onto other people and I draw the line there.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree. I was brought up Roman Catholic. Needless to say I am not religious today.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Same. My mom still lies to herself that I enjoyed catechism when I only ever said that I didn’t want to be there and didn’t like it.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The Christian religion is a plague on the Christian faith.

3 weeks ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

100 percent.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

A lot of the Bible and Jesus Himself warned & preached against false religion - modern day Pharisees by & large hold sway over the Christian Religion. If you read about the Pharisees in the Bible and from history you’ll notice some shocking similarities to today’s organized Christianity. I have to use the story of the “woman caught in adultery” re: “stone throwing” as a frequent example to explain to my kids the diff between a faith & religion. Ever wonder what Jesus was writing in the dirt?

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

No. Because that religion is no less "false" than any other.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jesus said "Heal the sick. Feed the poor. Love thy neighbor." No exceptions. If you can live that we can be friends. I ain't coming to a service at your church but we can hit the buffet after you get done.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

That's actually the entire point though. Everything Jesus put forth was just a blueprint for making strong human communities. Which is why a lot of those teachings have endured in ones they have. And it's all really basic stuff you know don't bang your neighbor's wife don't covet his goods. Hell even if you move to other Faith the concept of kosher is just codifying clean food and water really.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

People like that don’t care if you come to the service, they know that Jesus is found in what we’re doing afterwards, faith is lived and God’s being processed in an ICE facility as we speak.
