Can confirm through a roommate that did this. It broke. Didn't know it was a thing, just figured it was a shitty experiment turned worse.
We just need to set a good example then. Pressures on!!
I've had mine for years and love it. Will almost definitely make your cramps worse. Wouldn't trade the ease and peace mind regardless.
