I’m 6’3” and love to travel, in my experience there’s more legroom on flights longer than 5hrs. Shorter flights are horrible though, usually have my knees pressed against the seat in front of me
There’s also the psychological effect of a full cafe seeming more appealing to others who may walk in or look in from the outside. I forget the name for the concept, but it’s much like a tip jar having money entices people to tip better than an empty one

#2 I’ve done the same as a cab driver, bring customer to a bus stop as their bus pulls away, would chase down the bus and just charge the customer for the ride that had initially been asked for rather than adding the additional time and mileage

I moved to Brazil a little more than a year ago, lost more than 60lbs without actively trying. I believe it’s largely due to me eating a lot less processed food, I have not actively been exercising and do eat well

My daughter had a Father’s Day event yesterday where there were low stake competitive games. I’m a good winner and loser, but I’m a try hard and always worry I’ll overdo it, especially since I’m much larger than the other dads. I abstained but we had fun at the event
Been going through a rough family crisis lately and in my saddest moments our cat always seems to know to come over and be sweet with me. He’s always sweet, but especially so in those moments

I think outside of just flat out luck the other 2 things that helped were me being 6’3” and getting out of the car to stretch my legs when I had the chance to as well as being very friendly with people as a general rule. I often joked that if they got into the cab with ill intent I’d be so nice they’d decide to attack somebody that wasn’t so nice

Same here, but I unfortunately only got part time hours as I had recently switched to working 1 day a week to work a much better paying job. I started the new job 2 weeks prior to pandemic lockdown

Had the same story for a cut under my eye that coworkers asked about, I did tell them the truth shortly after that I had slipped on a combo of dirty clothing and a water bottle which resulted in me falling into a fold up table in my room. Damn I was a train wreck at that point in my life
