If the turtle could afford healthcare, or if we had universal healthcare (preferred), we wouldn't see stories of people building wheelchairs for turtles, as the turtle would be provided one that was either free or low cost.

#2 I’ve done the same as a cab driver, bring customer to a bus stop as their bus pulls away, would chase down the bus and just charge the customer for the ride that had initially been asked for rather than adding the additional time and mileage

one time i had a bus driver who was out of service pick me up ( it was like 1 am ) she asked me where i was going and i told her downtown.. she was like " well im bringing thr bus back to the garage which is just across the bridge from downtown, is that okay? " told her that would be perfect and it was honestly the nicest thing somebody did for me in a very long time

#2 End of 2nd yr uni, bus driver helped in v much the same way. StoryTime: moving to an apt only technically off campus - super short trek, in w established friends renewing lease, & Mom up to help. Last day I had ~4 more boxes to schlep. I could totally do it on my own! I'm 19, young & virile! Go home, Mom see ya in a couple days! ...NOPE. 12:30am & i crying-exhausted f "walk box to bus, bus to apt, walk back to dorm, clean lil more, repeat." 2nd to last box, bus driver asks if I'm ok (yes,

just worn out), how far am i going (literally one stop). When i go to exit at the regular stop 1.5 blocks from my new apt, he motions me to wait. He dropped me off at the other end of the block, maybe 10steps f my new front door. He saved my sanity that night <3

#5 gofundme pages for medical issues arent a feel good story but an immensely sad symptom of a deeply flawed system that makes not dying a commodity for the wealthy

If you haven't seen these posts before there is always one of those i there, it's a way of suggesting something you can do if you feel you benefit from these posts and wish to contribute something in return.

Also, there's no treatment for Bell's Palsy. You either recover, or you don't.

#1 I'm not a turtle scientist, but is it ok to glue stuff on them? At least it looks like glue, I'm hoping it's not screwed in.

It would depend on the adhesive. There are some used for medical purposes.

I would think the veterinarian would have an idea about turtle safe attachment methods.

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine. Your kind cling to your flesh, as though it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call the temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal… Even in death I serve the Omnissiah.

i would gladly donate the extra legos to make it have independent real axles so turning is easier

One change I would make is putting lego dots to cap off the pins as cool “rims” I do believe there is a printed turtle dot

My LEGO brain immediately started over engineering, but practicality stepped in, and it’s probably best to stay as minimal as possible keeping it as low and narrow as can be.
